"The hotel is very good, particularly for short stays. For me that only spent the night with my 2 children, I can’t complain. The swimming pool is their stronghold with heated waters and a jacuzzi with bubbles. They offer breakfast buffet for an extra price and their bed sheets make you heat up fast but that’s all there is to complain. The room is very warm, bad for the summer but great for a winter stay like us. Water pressure is a bit weak but the temperatures is quite warm so that’s good. The room has hangers but it’s missing a mini fridge. Also the staff was quite friendly answering all our queries and being quite helpful overall. "
"Loved the rooms. Bright, airy, clean, well equipped and spacious. Could do with a few more USB points.
The area is lovely and has plenty of parking. Unfortunately the ongoing building site (hospital) is a bit unsightly. Not the properties fault.
Staff are fantastic, helpful, empathetic and go the extra mile. Massive thumbs up for staff.
We only had breakfast on this occasion. Only negative to breakfast is that it is not made clear that if you can’t find something, you need only ask staff and they will help.
Overall the hotel is lovely.
Could do with a few water fountains for refilling water bottles."
"Only here for one night, but will be back. Hotel is deep in the New Forest, but well worth the trek to get to it. Yes, you need transportation, but once there you can be as active for relaxed as you want. Perfect location for a walk in the Forest. We had a room overlooking the forest. Great view with wildlife walking by, very comfortable bed, lovely tea & coffee...New Forest shortbread was delicious. Very comfortable bed. Every was lovely from the check in to our departure and dinner on the Armada restaurant was as good, if not better than some Michelin star restaurants we visited. Great breakfast and then we departed...but we will be back."
