"Great little hidden gem between Port Augusta and Quorn. We only stayed one night on our way back to Adelaide and everything else was booked, but to our surprise it was an amazing find. The cabin was clean and tidy, and had everything you need to feel like home. Hamish, the owner, was very welcoming. An added bonus was being able to switch off from devices for one night as phone service was limited. "

"Our friends vary in type of accommodation they prefer and Spear Creek caters for us all from tents to bungalows. We enjoyed a weekend (some a little longer) and the two walks on the property, sunset and good times around the camp fire plus a few took their 4WDs out for a spin. The morning coffee van was also a winner, as were the friendly staff there to help when ever needed.I had forgotten it was possible to escape to the Southern Flinder Ranges so easily - highly recommend if you need a break and spend a couple of nights under the stars or want to catch up with friends."
