Absolutely beautiful property! The place was clean and had a beautiful view of the lake. The check in process was very easy and Bill and Faye were great to communicate with. Would definitely come back.
The cabin was awesome for us. It was very clean and a great size for out family. We loved the quiet location on Lake Ontario. Wished we could have stayed longer!
The place was very clean and well kept. The view and the yard was the best. We really enjoyed a relaxing week on Lake Ontario. We can see Toronto across the way on a clear day.
The views are stunning. The well key cottage is nestled among the condos and the highway but you would never know they were there. The tranquil lake, comfortable beds, roomy kitchen and family sized common rooms make visiting with family fun. We appreciated the games tucked in the cupboard. Looking forward to the next time we are in the area.
Very nice and relaxing stay we had. The lake view is gorgeous. Everything we needed was included in the property. The hosts are very accommodating and attentive. 5 stars review
Lovely house. Beautiful view. Very easy to get to from the city.

Spectacular view. Bring your binoculars to see the ships, sailboats and waterfowl on Lake Ontario.Located on a private road that is not maintained with several large potholes.Comfortable beds and good appliances. The photographs of interior don’t reflect its current state and needs to be totally updated with new furniture, drapery and paint. There is no sandy beach or waterpark. Signs posted clearly state DANGER NO SWIMMINGWindows leak when there is heavy rain.Occasionally there is a strong rotten egg smell in the house.
This was a good place to stay. It was not premium, but it was great to be on the water. Everything worked in the house. The hosts had very good communication. We traveled on a holiday weekend and only stayed two nights so the investment felt substantial. A longer stay and not on a high demand weekend would probably improve my rating to excellent. Or maybe it’s because I am writing this review while waiting in the immigration line trying to get back into Michigan. None of this is the fault of the property or property owner.
This cottage is lovely. It was very clean and had a wonderful view of the lake. Beds were comfortable. I would bring my own sheets as the sheets provided are a little rough (but im very picky). We saw no neighbors. Our trips to explore the area were reasonably easy. We would stay here again.
Very nice and clean property that has amazing view of the lake from inside and outside of the cottage. Every morning we woke up to watch the most beautiful sunrise over the lake.
The property is 45 minutes from Niagara Falls and African Lion Safari. Thus, gives you a great balance to sit back and enjoy nature, while still being close to activities for the kids to enjoy.
Looking forward to staying there again in the near future.
They place was clean and had the neat view of fhe lake I have seen. There are lots of things to do and best of all...you can just relax.... only issue I would say we had were the bugs and flies, the black flies do bite.. but that is not the property fault that's just nature.... we will be going again..
Property was clean and quaint but we did not have as much privacy as we wanted. Every time we walked by the windows on the neighbor’s side, they were looking at us through a window. We were looking for someplace more secluded but the neighbors make that very difficult.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. This place was clean with beautiful view. Host always replied to our inquiry very quickly and were great to deal with. While we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone, we do want to point out couple of drawbacks 1. We were bit worried about couple of properties close by as we had noticed one of the neighbors burning garbage and others seems to have larger gathering. 2. Upstairs master bedroom has lower ceiling and I ended up hitting my head couple of times (I'm not even that tall). Otherwise rest of the things were amazing, specially the view from the rooms and host is great.

False advertising
The pictures in the advertising showed a small sandy beach one could have access to for sitting and wading. There was no such beach and no access. The neighborhood was trashy. The houses next door were unkept and shady looking. The rental was located in an alleyway behind a motel next to a freeway even though it was advertised it had lake front access in the nice Stony Creek neighborhood area. This should have been clearly advertised in the listing. The house was mildewy and musty. There was only one glass for use in the kitchen. This is the worst place we have stayed through VRBO.

Good property- rough location
March 2023
Once you're on the property, it's good. When you look out at the lake, it's amazing. The backyard is nice, the top bedroom was cozy. The kitchen was equipped-ish. The cabinets/drawers were in rough shape and the dining room table is some sort of cheap IKEA craft table.
The biggest problems... outside the property.
The house maybe 100m away was a trash heap, with a temporary fence and 2 big guard dogs. Three houses toward the highway was another trash pile. The road to get to the rental is dirt and mud. One morning when we left to tour the area there were multiple cops out with a subject right near the house. Got the impression it's a sketchy area.
We felt deceived about the proximity of the bike path. It's nearby, sort of, but the way to get there isn't very safe. It requires passing through the sketchy/muddy area and riding in the shoulder of Service Road with cars flying by.
