"We were surprised by the spaciousness of our room. The decor was plain, but the bed was surprisingly comfortable for being two twins bridged into a king. The breakfast was very good! We especially liked the jambon du pays. We had expected this to be our last (and 2nd) visit to le Mont, but it was such a different experience when staying there that we plan to return. "

"Hotel Vert provided our family of 4 a good stay during our trip to Mont St Michel. Ample room, good breakfast and convenient to our visit. The only drawback was not having access to an elevator when our room was on the top floor. There’s also no air conditioning but the evening temperatures were comfortable to sleep in with the window ajar. It was quiet. "

"This hotel and the room i stayed in were absolutely gorgeous! Be prepared to trek up stairs, as there is no elevator. Staff was nice and helpful when they were available. The staff could really use a bit more (English) explanation when it comes to instructions for after the restaurant downstairs closes (maybe a map would help), but I made do with gestures and limited English from the staff."

"Le Relais Du Roy is a very nice place to stay when visiting Mont St Michel. Although it is very basic, akin to an older Motel 6 in the US, we found the room to be clean, the receptionists exceptionally friendly, and the breakfast buffet bountiful and delicious. The location can't be beat, as it's only a 30 minute walk to Mont St Michel, or under 10 minutes by free shuttle, which were running until 11 pm in May. There are 3 restaurants in La Caserne for dinner, all within walking distance of...
