The room was really nice, with everything you need for a short stay. The gentleman at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. We arrived around 1 pm and were able to check in right away, which was a great start. My son turned 18 the day after we arrived, and the same kind gentleman at reception surprised us with a glass of Sekt after breakfast to celebrate, a really nice surprise for the birthday boy. Breakfast was also really good, with lot of selection- the scrambled eggs were delicious Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely book again, when going to Hamburg. The S‑Bahn station is only a few minutes from the hotel, so getting to the airport or into the city is really easy. The hotel sits right on the Reeperbahn, so the area is lively — just something to keep in mind when booking :) Danke schön und bis zum nächsten Mal!

The hotel is overrated

Not family friendly at all. If you are in Hamburg for the first time, you probably have no idea that this hotel in located right in the middle of sex clubs and main red light street. No air conditioning when windows are closed and so much noise that you can’t sleep when the windows are open. The cleanness was not deep and proper. Breakfast was below average. In overall this hotel is overrated. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location is close to center.
