Good location, big shopping mall beside, subway train right beside , clean and comfortable, elevator only goes to 3rd fl, done stay on 4th fl. If u cannot walk stairs.

Excellent value

An excellent alternative to more expensive downtown hotels. Located just a quick U-Bahn ride from the city centre, and very conveniently for the S-Bahn ride from/to the airport: You change at Wandsbeker Chaussee, and then just go one stop on the U-Bahn. There is a U-Bahn exit/entrance right outside the hotel. Cosy and friendly atmosphere, nice and helpful staff. Very clean and well kept. My room was rather small, but it had all I needed, apart from coffee (only tea bags!) but there is a free coffee machine in the reception. The mattress was quite hard. Best feature: a very abundant breakfast buffet with fresh vegetables (but not a lot of fruit). For the sweet tooth the Nutella dispenser is a big plus!

Select Hotel Tiefenthal - family stay

Location of the hotel is very convenient to U-bahn, bus stops, stores and cafes/restaurants. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful - smooth check-in and check-out. Rooms were clean and comfy. The physical condition of the room and especially bathroom was satisfactory, needing some renovation.

This hotel was very conveniently located for us, across the street was the subway, busses and a taxi stand. They served a daily breakfast. The staff was very friendly and greeted us by name. The only thing i would suggest is they improve the quality of their towels.

Trotz zweimonatiger Buchung im Voraus, war das Zimmer durch Dachschräge, einem 1,40 m Bett, Heizungsrohre an der Bettseite ein Witz. Im 4.Stock, der Fahrstuhl ging nur bis zum 3 Stock. Preislich kein Nachlass. So etwas erwarte ich eher, wenn nichts anderes frei ist.
