This was the perfect location for stay before and after our cruise. The family rooms were great. The female at the front desk was more than helpful when we needed an early check in.

Great Location.
This hotel is conveniently located near the Hbf. It is quite dated (still has metal room keys that you leave at the front desk) but the the elevator is modern. My room was barely bigger than the bed. Only one electrical outlet to be shared with the TV, light, and any of my own devices like computer or phone charger. It is slightly more affordable than other venues.

Dreadful
Where to start! For the money absolutely dreadful. Bathroom so small you have to shift legs to one side to sit down to go to the loo. Dreadful noise isolation (and it next to the noisy main station with drink loud people all night so you need it) , window sill so cheap the plastic of it flexed massively. So cheap not even any blackout curtains. Cleaning staff come in despite "do not disturb sign". And worst of all they double charged me despite the fact i told them I had already paid hotelscom. (I did manage to get it back after I sent a snotty email). Avoid avoid.

The location was excellent and the room was spacious. Loved the high ceilings. Great view looking across at the train station. It felt very secure. The only thing I would have liked that it didn't have was air conditioning.

the location of the hotel is brilliant in the central of hamberg, hotel is nice and clean and breakfast is also delicious to have. But safty is in shower is a big concern, there isnt any anti-slip in tub, I was fall in the tub when I take a shower and hurt myself plus break my glass as well, its a terrible experience.

Good value hotel.
Functional hotel opposite the station. Good value with a comfortable bed, clean sheets and a hot shower. Only issue was no plug sockets near the bed.

Fit for a Prince
This was a good hotel for my budget. Centrally located, clean and basic with a very good breakfast. I would stay there again and would recommend it for people who have to be budget minded.

A very pleasant stay right in the city centre so convenient for all amenities central train station just opposite and so walkable to all the shop’s would definitely recommend.

Avoid at all costs. This is the worst hotel I have ever been too. The person at the front desk oddly does not speak English, and tried to use google translate. He was exceptionally rude and very unhelpful. I ended up cancelling because of that and decided to use a different hotel. there are plenty of much better hotel in the same neighborhood. Not to mention the hotel is also unsafe. The had my luggage stored in an open place without having it tagged. Also that same rude person was not covering his nose yet asking me for my vaccine information!

Very basic but close to central train station.
Basic hotel with no exceptional features. The only great thing about it is the proximity to the central train station. Breakfast is fine, but don't expect much more, unless you need to be a minute away from the train station.

the shower had many moldy areas and the shower had no adjustable water pressure so I basically got powerwashed each time I showered. Room ventilation was horrible so when I showered the entire room stayed damp. ok for a quick overnight stay.

Good location for train, but very tired
Honestly, the whole place just seems tired and run down. The wifi wasn't working at all when I arrived, and it was pretty terrible even when it came up again, so don't count on doing any Zoom meetings. Very weak lighting and only two electrical outlets in the entire room (single ones at that) and one of them taken up by the bedside lamp. Only one measly pillow - I didn't think anyone did that anymore. Desk clerk at arrival so fussily autocratic that it would have been funny if not so unpleasant. However, grateful for at least having refillable shampoo and soap dispensers, and a wide selection of cable channels. Good enough breakfast. Definitely overpriced for the current state of the hotel, but Hamburg seems to be that way.

Hotel is very clean and well maintained and being exactly opposite to the central station makes it an ideal place to reach various tourist places in the city of Hamburg. The staff are very friendly and speak good English. The beds and pillows are a bit hard for comfort in the rooms we were given.

lousy and not for business stays
friendly staff. Basic room means “very basic” room. No kidding. Maintainance is not a forte. “Innovative” bathroom shower exhaust-replace the missing exhaust grill with a paper towel and tape- done. TV stream did not work the three days I was there in the entire hotel and they did not care to fix it. No TV movie nights. WIFi? if you need it to work, forget this hotel. The speed is so slow, it takes patience to even connect to email. The front desk solution “ just restart your computer” that will fix the low signal and low bandwidth. I guess you get what you pay for. Oh, and if you expect breakfast as advertised, expect to be sent to a sister property down the road “only” a block away. Fingers crossed it will not rain. After all it’s Hamburg.

Pros - Close to Train Station, very helpful staff. Cons - Noisy at night, Bathroom very small, Breakfast only available at a nearby hotel (not on site). Also tried to charge me for the stay even though I paid through the App.
