Lovely hotel in quiet area down at the waterfront. Easy to get to on the Underground, the stop ( universitat) is right at the hotel entrance. Rooms are very spacious and exceptionally clean and quiet. Toilet and shower room are separate which can be useful. Bar / restaurant area very relaxing and staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served on the first floor and there is everything you could need and served till 11am. Loads of choice for kids as well. Very family friendly hotel with areas for kids, plates cups and cutlery at mealtimes too. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Ahoi and welcome to the most amazing experience you can expect from a 4-stars hotel. One of the best hotels I've stayed at by far. Hamburg is one of the most beautiful and attractive cities to visit in Germany and Jufa Hotel gave us that one extra bit of happiness to our trip. A clean, comfortable and friendly all around atmosphere that almost wants you to stay indoor all day. NB The breakfast is a must to complete your full Jufa Hotel experience.

Good hotel with adjacent metro link
New hotel in an area of Hafencity still being developed and so not offering many services or much atmosphere in the immediate surrounding area. Right beside a metro station, however, offering 10-15 minute link to the city centre. Built to a high standard with average size room and reasonably comfortable bed.

Although the hotel was big it didn’t feel like it. Loved the open space in the reception area although perhaps they could do something about cooking smells. Overall friendly and relaxed.

Nice hotel but noisy environment
+ Large rooms, enough space for baggage etc. + Good breakfast + Clean room + Close to the U-Bahn + Child friendly - A lot of noise from the railway line and the constructions in the surrounding from 4 A.M. on - Only a small selection of expensive snacks in the evening

Like any normal business hotel. Above average.
Good location, just next to a local u train station and street parking also available. Only issue was finding a elevator to go to the breakfast area in busy morning hours. Even finding stairs to go to first floor was a challenge. I recommend management to make sure door to stairs is unlocked during morning hours and put some sign boards so that everyone is not dependent on elevators.

Nice, modern hotel in the Harbour City area
Nice new hotel in the 'Hafen City' (Harbour City) area of Hamburg. Very nice and large rooms, good bed, free wifi and modern vibe. There is a metro station on the U4 line directly outside the hotel which is very handy to get into the town centre. Town centre is about 20/25 minute walk or 5/10 minute tube. Water and Juice free of charge in room fridge. A lot of building going on in the area, though quiet at night. Hotel did offer meals, choice seemed limited - e.g. evening menu set 3 course dinner for 25 euros.

Although there is still some construction work being done around the Hafencity area of Hamburg, it didn’t bother or disturb our holiday. The staff are extremely pleasant and very helpful, the hotel is immaculate, and the room we had was comfortable. The mini fridge had free water and orange juice too! The only suggestion I would have for improvement would be if tea/coffee facilities were in the rooms, but this is easily purchased in the cafe beside reception, or from a lovely cafe we found nearby.

The hotel is very nice, clean, moderately friendly staff. Easy to get around. A few criticisims, the right hand lefr screams out the floor level. Quite shovking the first time. You can hear on tje 6th floor perfectly when it says ground floor. Secondly my biggest problem is that the hotel is surrounded by building works from the city which wasn't written anywhere before or after I booked, and the hotel didn't seem to care when I notified/politely complained that it was constant from 0730 on my first day of arrival luckily for myself if wasn't so bad the second 2 mornings. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, because of the construction for another 18 months or so. Also I am now aware that the hotel has only been open 6 months or so, and I also work in service, but the competanacy of most of the staff seems that they haven't had enough training. If it was one or two I would assume they were brand new and wouldn't have a problem at all. Also a handful of the bar staff in the foyer bar are quite unfriendly/rude, they talk/shout to you across the bar, don't seem bothered about customer service at all, especially in the morning. Again I work in service so I know the importance of this and also understand it can be hard to be happy and smiley all the time especially when you have personal problems. But a bit of effort would be nice. Otherwise hotel is clean, and has good transport links also not far to walk to the harbour, maritime museum and speicherstadt.

Very nice but not perfect
It was all almost perfect, but to get some proper food I had to travel by taxi or get early one of only two options in the bar. Also no room service or tea/coffee facility in the room.

The hotel is still under construction. At 9 am, hammering and borings started in the rooms adjacent. Also all around the hotel, construction is going on. Check out time is already at 11 am. I asked for a check out at 11:30 or 12 and was told that this is not possible. The bathroom design is not functional. The sink as well as the entire bathroom has no space to put any items somewhere. If you try to call the reception, no one answers and you get connected to the hotel chain’s head office in Graz, Austria. They tell you that they cannot help you and you need to speak to the hotel’s reception. I got connected to Austria for about 5 times without ever reaching the reception. The hotel is located in a newly developed area. There is not much around, but the subway is adjacent and it takes only 2 stops to get to the Jungfernstieg. For a short business trip the hotel is fully ok - but not for a price of 300 USD!

Excellent.
Excellent family orientated hotel overlooking the Elbe river in a newly developing area. The city is easily walkable from the hotel but I took the train as the station entrance is outside the front door. Its only 3 stops to Hamburg central station but you only need to go 2 stops to Jungfurnsteig as that station is directly below where the canal boats go and is more central. The room was new, spacious and very clean. I didn't use the bar or breakfast areas but they are very nice and overlook the river. There are no shops near the hotel but walk 400m down the road and there is a nice little open air mall with a supermarket, cafes, shops etc and keep walking another 800m towards the very impressive Philharmonic building and there are several restaurants and cafes overlooking the river.

Super zentral in der Hafencity gelegen. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß zu erreichen. U-Bahn gleich am Hotel. Das Hotel haben wir nach diesem Aufenthalt und der guten Erfahrungen bereits für den nächsten Urlaub gebucht.

Das Hotel hat mit den zum Wasser hin gehgelegenen Zimmern in den oberen Stockwerken einen schönen Blick auf die Hafencity und Teile des Hamburger Hafens. Das Frühstücksangebot war hinsichtlich Umfang und Qualität überdurchschnittlich gut.
