"Perfect place to stay overnight before a flight from Stansted.
Lots of choice for your help yourself breakfast.
Wasn’t made aware that you could leave your car there and take a taxi to the airport. Would have definitely saved some money.
Maybe this could be highlighted more."

"I wish I’d just paid more to go to a chain hotel. This was terrible, the shower took 10 minutes to warm up by this point the bathroom was already flooded and the water was leaking into the bedroom floor. One of the great benefits was ‘FREE PARKING’ listed on their advert but I was in fact charged for parking for the few hours I was there overnight!!! Conveniently close to the airport but that’s about all that was good about this place."

"Everything just as listed. Room was spotless, everything clean bright and fully functional. Host communications were timely, informative, and replies to questions prompt and always courteous and professional. We wanted to experience piece of English country living that is getting harder to find these days. Beautiful green fields, birds everywhere, and kind cheerful people who treat guests warmly. That's what you get here. Shops and places to dine are 15mins drive away. Great place to...

"Guess we should have realised from the price. This is well located but very basic. The bar below is a noisy club. We didn't mind that, but others might. The room was clean but very basic. Bathroom and toilets shared down a flight of stairs. The staff were lovely. "

"We booked through hotels.com but you have to pay for parking that way, if you book direct then it’s free, so what we saved on a discount we ended up paying in parking ."
"Decent hotel, not as close to Stanstead as initially expected, but there is a very handy regular shuttle bus to and from the airport. Only downside is that the rooms are very noisy, you can definitely hear what sounded like planes taking off well in to the night."
"We stayed here for one night on a Sunday and it definitely met the expectations for the price range. Beforehand I had requested anything complementary as it was our anniversary. I was pleasantly surprised that we were granted an upgrade to a junior suite on the top floor, however bare in mind it was a Sunday and not very busy. They kindly decorated the room for our anniversary which was a lovely touch.
Overall, a very peaceful stay for both of us, helped by the lovely staff and topped off by a lovely breakfast.
The main attraction was definitely the pool"
Holiday Inn Express London Stansted Airport by IHG
8/10 Good
"The shuttles were fairly regular but for some reason they este saying bay 28 and its not. Instead I saw a sign for holiday inn and got on that coach. Note its £4 per journey.
Checking took a minute and my room was at the back overlooking woods so it was peaceful. It is close to m&s shop and McDonald's so you do have options for food.
A kettle was provided which I used to make tea. The floor could have done with a vacuum but otherwise the toom was decent. I liked having a sofa to watch tv rather than the bed or a chair.
The hotel did provide breakfast at 4pm but its such a rush to eat and get the shuttle so I just took some cereals and learned that coffee is not allowed on the shuttle."
