"Booked a “best estuary” view room and it did not disappoint, view was amazing and we had a lovely large balcony. We had fantastic weather for October so we made the most of this beautiful location. "The property was fine, being met with a pair of underpants on the outside banister didn’t bode well, but once inside it was fine. We are in our seventies so going downstairs in the morning with two cups of tea wasn’t ideal but we worked around it. The place was clean and very well equipped although we ate out every day. Salcombe is very niche and expensive although very beautiful and the natives were friendly enough. There are some lovely views a hilly walk away. There are National Trust gardens...

"Stayed here as an entry point to the South West Coastal path so whilst the town itself only has a pub and a post office, it was perfect for a 1 night stay before starting a long walk. There's also a local bus which goes a few times a day. Big room, very clean and comfortable, great breakfast included. Lovely stay."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An absolutely wonderful stay – we can’t wait to return! We had the most wonderful stay at Glebe Farm, staying in The Shippen with our two dogs, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better place. From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we immediately felt completely at home. The setting is absolutely stunning. It’s beautifully rural and peaceful, with gorgeous views in every direction and the property itself is spectacular. Our dogs absolutely loved being able to roam around the grounds and explore, which made it such a perfect choice for a dog-friendly break. The location is fantastic if you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy some real peace and quiet, while still being within easy reach of the surrounding area. There’s something incredibly special about waking up surrounded by countryside and beautiful scenery. The Shippen was lovely, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We genuinely didn’t want to leave! A huge thank you to the wonderful hosts for making us feel so welcome. We will absolutely be back and would highly recommend Glebe Farm to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful and truly dog-friendly getaway. 🐾❤️ Five stars without hesitation! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"We were pleasantly surprised of the size of the property, we had everything we needed for our stay! Torcross is a lovely, quaint village, this was our first visit and not likely to be our last. Just one warning for future visitors, there is no shop, just a pub and cafe, both provided lovely food! Make sure to visit the nearby farm shop and garden centre for a pizza!"

"Extremely well maintained and well appointed apartment. We had one small issue with the doors which was rectified very quickly. Loved that there were plenty of mugs, glasses , plates etc as well as cooking equipment. I always think two dishwasher tablets is unnecessarily mean when its quite an expensive holiday but thats a small gripe!"
