Heaps of space right amongst the hills
This property is well maintained and well equipped, and the indoor and outdoor spaces are enormous. We had a fantastic time staying here. Very easy to access the town centre and other local walking areas. Undercover parking, and room to store bikes on the undercover deck area. Perfect for our needs. Highly recommend.

Great getaway in Halls Gap
This was a fantastic place to stay for a family weekend away in Halls Gap. The house is convenient, clean and charming, and has all the features we needed to be comfortable: good heating, great beds, wifi and a big TV, as well as great views, a big BBQ and a massive fire pit in the backyard. Highly recommended.

Fantastic location
My wife and 2 daughters stayed here for 4 nights just after Easter and we found it just right. The size of the house was perfect, and the backyard was actually much bigger than it looked in the pictures. The place was clean and comfortable, and the fire pit in the back yard was perfect for an Autumn evening camp fire. It was far enough out of the village to avoid the crowd, but only a few minutes drive or a 20 minute walk to get to the heart of Halls Gap. Just over the back fence, 20+ kangaroos would regularly graze in the mornings and evenings and we even saw a few emus making their way down the road out front. We would highly recommend this location for a family get-away.

Amazing experience
My family and I recently stayed at the Halls Gap Cottage. From the beginning of the stay, we were thrilled how clean, cozy and beautiful the space was. On our second day there, we were lucky enough to have kangaroos come and visit the front lawn while we were out there enjoying the scenery! Thank you for this great accommodation! I would highly recommend staying here :)

Christmas at The Gap
Our family loved staying at The Gap for Christmas. It’s a great house that had everything we needed . The house is situated perfectly, close enough to walk to Halls Gap and lots of walks and tracks for bike rides. We would love to stay at The Gap again soon.

Beautiful property and location!
This was our second stay in this cute property. We had a wonderful time, the location is perfect and our children loved the local wildlife and riding their bikes into town. The best place to unwind and relax...we will be back for a third time!!!

Family getaway
All the instructions from the owner were spot on we had no trouble getting into the property. Once inside we found the place to be very clean and comfortable ,the surroundings were very peaceful and relaxing, it was awesome to sit on the back deck and watch the deer and kangaroos grazing over the back fence. All we needed to take was food toiletries and clothes. Everything else was provided. Very warm and welcoming place. This was a lovely place to get away. Would highly recommend this to everyone.

Home away from home
What a lovely place to stay! With a two year old, we’re always unsure of how we will feel staying in another house, but this house quickly became a home. A huge enclosed yard, beautiful decking and so many gorgeous features within the home, we couldn’t go wrong. The little touches went a long way as well. Pretty furnishings, shampoo and coffee and the list goes on. We were delighted to be greeted by cockies eating from our hands on the first day, as well as seeing kangaroos, emus, rosellas and ducks right by the property. A walking trail to Brambuk right at the end of the street was such a treat as well. We can’t wait to come and visit again. We suggest bringing extra tea towels and toilet paper and bring your food if staying for a few days. We were happy we did, as food can be a little pricey. Visit the zoo and Sprit of Punjab restaurant while here- we had a great time! Thank you for such a beautiful home away from home in one of our favourite destinations!

The house was large, clean and located close to hiking trails, town and the cultural center. Decorated in a retro style, it was comfortable and the listed amenities were appreciated. We had an issue with the heater, but once we contracted the owner, she solved the problem immediately. We would stay here again if we returned to the Grampions.

My family and I loved the well kept home, the standards of cleanliness very high. The interior decor was very beautifull, the house nice and warm, and most of all the beds were very comfortable..Every element of the house was as listed...The property is also very close to most of the tourist attractions almost walking distance... waking up to wildlife in the backyard was the best attraction during our holiday. Janet is a lovely host and very understanding..We are so going back there, and I recommend the house as a nice place to stay when you are out that way.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay - especially watching the kangaroos and deer over the back fence in the morning. The house was very well appointed with an excellent selection of utensils in the kitchen. A very comfortable bed for a good night sleep, a well supplied laundry, a great deck outside for sitting and a good walking distance to the ice creamery. Clean and comfortable made for a relaxing weekend away. Thankyou for providing a great place for a refreshing break.

Easy stay in Halls Gap, the Grampians
House is very well appointed and kid proof - has 2 large bedrooms in the house with comfy double beds. Our teenage daughter loved her 'retreat' (room with small ensuite) in the backyard. Living room spacious, well appointed kitchen, deck really large overlooking a park with much wildlife (roos, rosellas, cockatoos). If you are looking for luxury, this is the wrong house. But would definitely book this again as very convenient to walk into Halls Gap, very quiet, well set up. Main feature for us was the backyard and location!
