Loved our 4 night stay and will be back. Fabulous location, walking distance of Main Street of Halls Gap , with the back garden overlooking the bush and mountain. House beautifully fitted out, so we ate in , enjoying the fire pit in back garden and then moving inside to enjoy the fire.

We love Halls Gap
Great spot abutting the national park with a peaceful meadow where Roo's graze and a stream with frog's croaking in the evening. Neat house with a warm fire. No complaints. Thanks for having us!

Absolutely stunning spot in Halls Gap. Loved our time watching the wildlife from the balcony and lounge area. Amazing home away from home with everything we needed in a great location .

Grampians getaway!!
Beautifully kept property in an ideal position, easy access to main street! Beautiful bush setting, kangaroo's in the backyard. Cosy cottage with lovely wood fire heater as well as split system. Very comfortable!!

Dad and teenage son getaway
We had a Dad and teenage son getaway but with 3 bedrooms a wife and 2 more little kids will suit and still enjoy. A great outlook out onto the bush with suitable bbq and fire pit.the inside wood fire place kept us toasty along with electric heaters and blankets.Close enough to the village for a 10min walk or 5 minute bike ride to get your cafe lattes/ice creams. Some waterfall bush walks straight from the cabin with all the other walks a 5min drive away, we'll be back!

Cottage with a view
A gorgeous view of the bush land and the kangaroos grazing from the decking and large windows. A lovely renovated place with all that we needed, a very comfortable bed, electric blankets and a wood fire plus other heating for chilly, wet days.

We really enjoyed our stay that we booked last minute. The house is so close to the main part of town and has everything you need. Dean was very accommodating and made sure everything we needed including a portacot and high chair were ready for our arrival. There are heaters in every room which was so handy for the cold nights. And the woof fire was great - it warmed the open living areas so well. My toddler loved seeing the wild kangaroos hanging around the backyard. We'd stay there again, for sure.

Serenity was perfect for our family. Great layout, comfy beds and the kids loved the wildlife that visited. We enjoyed toasted marshmallows over the fire pit and the proximity of the national Park and walking trails basically in our backyard.

Arrived to be surrounded by Kangaroos, had a visit from an Emu & Deer and every native bird you could think off. It was great sitting on the balcony just watching the world go bye. The house has everything you need and is in walking distance to shops & cafes. Perfect weekend.

Not what we expected
Location was good, loved the wildlife and peacefulness, but felt the property wasn’t as new as the pictures portrayed. Disappointed the back lawn was not mowed because the grass was quite long, considering one of the features advertised was going in the backyard and hanging around the fire pit, was all quite untidy. Basically what we walked into was not what the pictures portrayed

Peaceful retreat.
We had a lovely stay, the location was nice and quiet, yet close to everything. The kids loved when the kangaroos and ducks came to visit in the backyard.

Quiet spot with easy access to some enjoyable walks. The kids enjoyed the hammock and toasting marshmallows in the outside firepit. Unfortunately the floors appeared to have only just been mopped and were completely wet when when we arrived which made walking around on them challenging initially, however we understood that the cleaning process possibly takes a bit longer than usual at the moment with the extra Covid precautions.

This is an absolutely wonderful property and a little bit of heaven on earth. To waken up and hear the kookaburras and look outside to see deer and kangaroos grazing happily together in the back garden. Within minutes easy walking distance to town and also very close to a lot of walks. Will book again. Loved it.

Loved everything about staying at the Serenity House in Halls Gap. Loved the house, loved the bush setting (and the wild-life parading past at all hours). Loved Halls Gap. Perfect for wildlife viewing!
This property is located within walking distance of Hall’s Gap- we were able to walk to dinner on trails. It also faces the park- loaded with kangaroos, emus, and birds. Our favorite spot was the back porch!

Comfortable and well equipped house in a great location on the edge of the National Park. Lots of wildlife visit the property and there's easy access to town. Recommended for a peaceful long or short stay.

Serenity Halls Gap is well situated on a quiet dead end street very near the town of Halls Gap. Lots of bird life and daily kangaroo sightings.

A beautiful place to stay
Lost count of how many times I’ve stayed here. Beautiful house to come back to after a day of hiking. My kids and I love this place in both summer and winter. Glenn is a great host. Do yourself a favour and visit halls gap and stay here. The house has everything you need and is in a great location. No neighbours so it’s nice and quiet and all you have to worry about is saying hello to all the kangaroos and emus.

Fantastic place, great location
We had an amazing stay at Serenity. Our international guests from France and Tahiti got up close and personal with wildlife, dining on the balcony with Kangaroos, Emu, Deer and native birds right on the doorstep. The house is located perfectly, short distance from Halls Gap township but on the edge of the National park. The house itself is perfect for a group getaway. Glen was a great host providing information about local attractions, walks and restaurants. Highly recommend Serenity and would return in a heartbeat.

For those who love a peaceful escape from city and to blend with nature, this place is perfect ! Clean and tucked in strategic place in Halls Gap and you will wake up to the song of birds and sighting of kangaroos and emus :)

Beautiful Location
The house has everything you need for a stay in Halls Gap. The rear of the property looks out into the foothills and was visited by so much wildlife during our stay. The location is a 20 minute stroll in to town with lots of hikes available locally. The house had all the facilities we needed and was very clean on arrival.

We enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and the kids loved the Foxtel. Kangaroos everywhere and the fireplace was very nice. Fire starters and matches would have been handy but overall we had a great time.

Im so glad you enjoyed our newly installed Foxtel and WiFi package, the firelighters, matches & newspaper were all under the Tv cabinet next to the fire. Im sorry you didn't find them we will put a label on the cabinet making them easier to find for future.

Just beautiful backyard and good house with everything you need.
Beautiful backyard with lovely walk to town. House has everything you need but could have more attention to detail, kids beds were not made and fire not laid when we arrived. Wireless, HD tv or a couple of dvds to choose from would be great. YHA next door was really noisy late into the night which really spoiled out ‘quiet’ weekend.

Glad you liked the house and apologies about the bed not being made, there was a miscommunication between us and our cleaning staff which I have now remedied. Great suggestion re kids entertainment we are in the process of installing Internet and Premium Foxtel.....that should keep them occupied! We will speak to the YHA about the noise but this is the first time it has been an issue so hopefully a once off. Thanks for your honest review it has made things better for our next guests! Glenn
