We had a great stay. The house was perfect for a family catch up with plenty of rooms and space for everyone and plenty of facilities to keep us comfortable.

Our group of friends, along with their kids all had a great time on the property. We loved seeing the local wildlife and hearing the kookaburras laugh. We used the firepit nightly and it was fantastic to sit around the fire, drinking wines from the local wineries after a day exploring the area. The kitchen was well equipped, beds were very comfortable, plenty of space for our group of 7 adults and 6 kids.

Warm, cozy and perfect location

We had an amazing time, the housevwas so cozy and warm in the middle of winter, perfect location to be based at, and so cool seeing all the kangaroo's bouncing through the property

A well equipped house for a large family, extended family or a few families. Extensive property was enjoyed by inquisitive grandkids. Only suggestion would be to add some plastic ware in the kitchen for younger children.

fabulous property- close to Halls gap centre. Has a pen outback for doggies and a huge camp fire area. great for families. we had a bunch of kangaroos on the first morning nibbling the grass out front- it was beautiful. my only caution would be that if you have people upstairs and you are sleeping downstairs, you hear the creaking floorboards. so bring earplugs if youre sensitive to that stuff. But its a gem of a property-i'd come back.

Perfect for group

Although a little dated, this place was perfect for our needs. Lots of bedrooms and a full kitchen meant we could self cater. It’s in a quiet location and fantastic to just sit and chill after our function.

14 of us came for Adelaide on our bikes to explore the Grampians the house was beyond expectations the outside fire pit was unreal the house was better than the listing thank you very much had a great weekend

Fully equipped cabin in the woods

Warm cozy cabin atmosphere with fully equipped kitchen and creature comforts. Very comfortable and sizeable for huge groups too

Quiet Getaway

We had a great stay and will definitely be back we did have a issue on the first night which Georgie sorted out straight away and the rest of our stay was exactly what we needed. Perfect quiet location with plenty of wildlife to watch.

Great place for families

Great place for grandparents and family. There was a master bedroom and bathroom downstairs. Lovely sofas downstairs with multiple living areas and a huge dining table. Great barbecue. The property was great for walks with our dog, outside seating. Lots of wildlife wondering through. Would definitely book again.

Holidaying In The Grampians

Tranquil, relaxing environment . We especially enjoyed the outdoor seating around the fire pit. The layout of the family home was very accommodating to a large group of friends with several different seating areas. Over our 5 day stay we explored the Grampians in depth

Beautiful cozy place.

The place exceeded all the expectations. Watching Kangaroos and Emus in the front yard in the morning while having breakfast was a memorable experience. Definitely will be a first choice next time. Definitely recommend this place.

We were a large group and this house was big enough for us all. The grounds are amazing and everyone was delighted with the wildlife , great location close to town. Wonderful house for a winter family get away.Great communication with host

Spacious and relaxing home away from home

Perfect home base for our Grampians hiking trip in a great location. Plenty of living spaces to wind down after our hikes and very clear instructions on using the many amenities. Great communication from Georgie to ensure things went smoothly, particularly when we forgot some items after checking out! Recommended hosts and location.

Love the house, have stayed before. It is in need of some work. Bed linen dirty, garden overgrown, floors dirty with bugs, shower needs a good clean. Such a great location and vibe but disappointing level of hygiene

Family Reunion

4 siblings and their kids came to remember our mum and dad who met in Halls Gap at a Christian camp about 65 years ago. It was a beautiful connecting time and we so enjoyed the fire outside.. but the whole deal was just amazing.

Great spot for family

We had a great time here. Plenty of room, outdoor fire, indoor fire and a great outdoor bbq area. Great location only 3k's from Halls Gap but in a beautiful bush setting away from the tourist mayhem. The only downside was the coffee drinkers in our group couldn't use the coffee machine as there were no coffee beans, even though the webpage said there would be beans available. Not a big deal for the non coffee drinkers though.
