"Nice cabin off the lakeshore w/ a beautiful view, a dock and nice backyard hangout area w/ appreciated amenities like grills, fire pit, paddle boat, canoe, kayaks. Although I didn’t use them this trip, it was great that the Host shared use of these. The cabin was clean and welcoming, and the location as well as being pet friendly worked out so well for me and my dogs so I could visit my family who live close by and family from out of town that stayed in Houghton Lake. I greatly appreciated the fenced in dog run as it made it easy for me to deal with my dogs for bathroom breaks. The kitchen and amenities were also greatly appreciated as I was able to keep food in a full size fridge and not in coolers. I was able cook breakfast for myself and food prep for a dinner I made for my family. I appreciated the nice bathroom; the AC; the fans; the decor that is cute, homey, and welcoming; and even though I didn’t use the laundry it is awesome to have it and be able to use it. I thought it very nice that the Host provided hygiene items available like hand soap and dish soap as the place some of my family stayed at did not provide those. This Host also made additional PH items available at low cost if you happened to need them. The Host, Ms. Rachel, was friendly and quick to respond to my inquiry when I was preparing to book. I was also welcomed with a hand written note and bottle of wine. I will definitely consider staying here again, and would recommend this place to others."
