"Location is good a little walk to the lake, but a beautiful view. How cozy the house felt. The hot tub was nice after a long day to relax and unwind. My husband and I love to go rock hunting. He’s a geologist so going to Lake Michigan was our number one priority and it did not disappoint. It’s only a little over an hour drive from the house. We also got to go to Mackinac Island, which was really cool to see the horse and buggy all of the bikes and we got to see the arch rock so cool to see in person well worth the drive. The house was good felt clean the only thing the house could use a little sprucing up and a brand new showerhead in the bathroom but we would stay there again."

"The Roost was perfect for our family gathering! Our daughter was getting married, and we were hosting family at the cabins. Everyone had their own space with the individual cabins. The main cabin is very spacious and has everything you need. The three smaller cabins are adorable and it allowed everyone to have their own space. We all enjoyed the fire pit, that was our favorite place to just sit and enjoy the beautiful lake. The kids enjoyed the game room and shuffleboard, plenty for them to keep entertained. The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating, it really is the perfect setting for a family vacation. "

"Overall it is a great location and base for adventure. Our group met Dr Pol and crew, visited Reindeer Rooftops, Carrie grocery and Yoder’s grocery. Dined at The Herrick House and Mulberry Cafe. The ATV trails made walking in the morning a delight. The black squirrel sightings thrilled my niece. The deer greeted us several times during the day. Michigan was a pleasant place and Lyndsey was a great host and responded un a timely manner. Loved the theme, movie room and secret room. Beds were comfortable. "
