"Great breakfast. Evening staff was not great at all though. The games on the phone was more important than helping people at the counter apparently and when I did get interaction with the evening employee she acted like it was a chore to do her job 2 days in a row so that was frustrating. The hotel itself was clean and had a nice view of the lake when eating breakfast."

"Golden on the lake was just the cabin we needed for a weekend away. It had enough space for our group, comfy beds and furniture. There were little details the hosts provided that just took things to the next level. Hot tub was clean and got nice and toasty. View from the back deck was spectacular."

"Absolutely immaculate home! Very clean, the best stocked VRBO we’ve ever stayed at. Nice comfortable beds, lots of comfy furniture inside and outside. It can get a bit warm on a hot humid day but the attic fan really helped. There are about 92 steps to and from the dock and lakefront but we managed them fine. There are even two bedrooms being built in the basement which gives so much sleeping space. This has to be the nicest VRBO ever and we’ve used VRBO for many many years!"
