Lovely to be so close to the beach. Had all we needed for our stay but it was clear that the season was coming to the end as dining options limited.

The location and value for this property were both first rate. We were located right next to the ocean and beach, and able to step out of our room and to see beautiful sunrise. We were in a great location to grab a boat ride to cathedral cove, and only a 10 minute drive to hot water beach. Our only regret is that we were here longer! Room was large and clean and well equipped. Everything we needed for our stay. It’s a campground/resort combo - with so many different types of accommodations. It was super laid back - which I loved. Would definitely stay again.

Great ocean views and beach access. This property is a mixed campground and villas arrangement and there was a lot of activity. Our unit was a 2 bedroom villa ruin the ocean with the best Pacific view I have ever experienced.

We rented Studio #4 and it was very nice! Large, clean, well stocked kitchen accessories, air conditioning if you wanted, right at beach access. Camper spots were well manicured grass pads. Enough meal choices in the small town, which was easily within walking distance. Would have loved to stay longer, but our itinerary did not allow it.

We stayed in a studio which was spacious and had everything for a few days stay. Bed was a little soft for me but thats a personal preference. We had dinner at the deck, pizza which was very good. The other restaurant had already closed @ 7 . Highly recommend a stay here

Very comfortable room with all the amenities that were needed, including towels for the beach. Great location, right on the beach, and fantastic outlook! Enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the beach!

Next time I'll ensure I don't book a cabin below somebody else's because we could hear heavy foosteps from children and adults past our bedtime. But otherwise it was fine, The setting is magnificent with the beach nearby, the grounds were kept tidy, the receptionists was helpful, the other guests were friendly, and it was easy to drive in and out, including to reach our dinner venue.

We were in Hahei for 2 days and we had a garden studio unit. It was spotlessly clean, so welcoming and a place we felt we really wanted to stay in . It appears to us that this Holiday Resort can offer accommodation to suit all budgets and we can thoroughly recomend them.

Such an amazing resort! I am so sorry we were only there for one night cause this is the kinda place I would have spent several days. Front desk was nice enough to accommodate out late arrival and help us narrow down some nice beaches in the area.

Large campground with some simple cabin units. close to the beach. local pizza or burgers sold at the canteen/restaurant most of the week. outdoor bar also available. good location for beach. would be good for cathedral cove if foot access is allowed

The property inside was very nice and the staff helpful and friendly. The beach is beautiful too. We were disappointed by the location of the cottage, it’s called a coastal cottage with a patio. In reality it’s opposite the reception on the main entrance, one side is a cafe and the other a venue that had events every evening, so noisy. Literally Just off the patio there were tents pitched on the campsite and cars driving in and out of the campsite. so our view was of people pitching tents and getting up in the morning in various states of undress. To add to that the view from the patio was of the campsite toilets. I would say the patio was unusable and not at all what is described on the website. We have camped a lot and usually found campsites friendly and welcoming, but here the atmosphere was unfriendly, there was no diversity amoungst the campers which may have contributed to the unfriendly reactions we received.

Great place to stay next to the beach in Hahei. Walking distance to village and places to eat and drink, although great options on site too. Premier studio was good with great facilities. Only negative was we were using the double sofa bed and were surprised that there was no linen or pillows - we had to use pillows from double bed and there was a throw to use.

I cannot recommend this place to anyone due to the disappointing level of service we received. We called them to inform them of our late arrival. Unfortunately there was bridge construction that began at 8pm, and we were not allowed to pass. The only other option would be to drive an additional 2.5 hours in the rain at night through the mountains. This construction apparently has been an ongoing thing that locals know about, and I would have expected them to inform us, as there are only 2 roads into the property. Pretty important information that they left out when we called them. We ended up having to stay at another place, AND Hahei Beach Resort still charged us. Sad to see that this place does not go above and beyond for the customer.

We arrived at Hahei Beach Resort for an overnight stay driving at 10kph after suffering two punctures in one day! We had no phone signal or data and needed help. During check-in Louise at reception went truly 'above and beyond' to help us out. The whole reception staff were really friendly and helpful and our disastrous experience was made very much better by their cheerful disposition and first class assistance. The Premier Studio Apartment was fantastic, well appointed, clean and perfectly situated on the beach. Cannot recommend Hahei Beach Resort highly enough and thank you once again to staff at reception.

Perfect location, within walking distance to Hahei beach. Cathedral Cove walking track is only a few minutes away. Closer to Hot Water Beach also, only 10 minutes drive away. The resort has onsite alfresco dining and a bar. Our cabin has a washing machine and full kitchen amenities. We love it. The only down side is our cabin only has 1 bathroom and 1 toilet. The cabin can sleeps up to 8 people. So it was a struggle for 8 people in the morning. Shower has low pressure, water ran very slow. We wished it had stronger water flow. Other than that. We would recommended to families and friends.

Nice view of the beach, clean and well equipped room. Would be better if the toilets are better insulated as it gets very cold at night.
