"Very happy with our stay at Occidental Tamarindo! First, the staff, I’ve never felt so welcomed any where else. Plenty of food and drinks. Clean rooms and facility in general. Entertainment team made a huge effort every single night and was really appreciated by us. They go above and beyond in every show with whatever resources they have. Special mention to the tours desk in the hotel with Sibü Tours! Yusi is amazing and very personal in every interaction. The best driver ever, Manrique, is all you need when looking for a friend in an unknown destination! He’s our friend now! Francisco, the guide, was fun, friendly and informative (5 stars), and Don Diego the big boss, a very humble, pleasant and friendly guy. Such a great team! We’re already planning to go to Occidental again!"

"Yes, very clean they organized and cleaned our room multiple times a day. They could’ve had more restaurants open. Some music down at the pool would’ve been nice. Apparently we went during their lowest season and it was only about 5 to 10% occupied so it was pretty quiet. There was a minor construction that disrupted our afternoon one day with some very loud pressure washers. It’d be nice if they had a club with music and dance floor . but they did upgrade us when we got there to a better room with an ocean view. I was very appreciated of that."

"This beautiful clean well-kept home was the perfect base for our family vacation to Costa Rica. We loved having the housekeeper come tidy up and wash the towels each day. She also made breakfast for us which was the best way to start the day. We definitely hope to return soon!"

"Best place we have EVER stayed! The house is amazing! Plenty of room, stocked kitchen, cozy beds, great showers, beautiful backyard….I could go on and on. The location is perfect for quick beach visits and close to adventures. Even the communication with the management team was top notch! We just got home yesterday and I am trying to figure out when we can come back. You will not be disappointed if you stay here! "

"The house was perfect for our party of 12. Very spacious and comfortable. The outdoor space was amazing and the kids loved the pool. I’d definitely recommend the grocery delivery - very nice option. Joel and property management were wonderful to work with. Very responsive and helpful. Our flight out was canceled and they were kind enough to find us a property to stay one more night and organize the transportation from and to the airport - all within twenty minutes of our request. We’d happily stay at Villa Solana again! "
