"The property was wonderful and so spacious. The whole house was huge but so we'll designed. Every room was large with its own bathroom. The kitchen was immense and the dining/living room has plenty of room for large gathering. The pool is nice and the pool area has so much room for everyone to enjoy. The property also comes with a house mom and she was wonderful. Everything about the villa was wonderful and I would definitely go back if we ever go to costa rica again."

"Amazing stay at George and Blythe’s beautiful home. We had a group of 10 family members across 3 generations that enjoyed every aspect of the house, but especially the outdoor living area. We spent most of our week outside enjoying the pool and all the amenities at the house and the community. The Beach Club was fantastic. But most importantly, the concierge team with Dani leading the charge made our stay even that much better with excellent planning and execution of our daily activities. Amazing stay in this luxurious home. Pura Vida"

"We had a wonderful stay in Tamarindo and would highly recommend this property.The home was absolutely beautiful and exactly as described in the listing. Everything was very well maintained, and the host guidebook was very helpful in explaining how to use the electronics, appliances, and other features in the house, which made our stay especially comfortable.The concierge team was exceptional. They were incredibly helpful with everything we needed—from directions and restaurant recommendations to reservations, transportation, shopping, referrals, and general questions about the area. No matter what we asked, they responded very quickly and always made things easy for us.We also arranged for someone to come in and help prepare breakfast, which was such a wonderful addition to our stay. The entire house staff was kind, welcoming, and extremely helpful.The combination of the beautiful property, wonderful staff, and excellent concierge service made our time in Tamarindo truly enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend both this property and the area to anyone planning a trip to Costa Rica. We would happily stay here again!"

"Our stay in Costa Rica was truly unforgettable and honestly exceeded every expectation we had. The house itself was absolutely incredible—beautifully designed, spacious, immaculate, and even better than the photos. Having private gated access to a secluded beach made it feel like our own little slice of paradise.What really took the experience to another level, though, were the people. Our concierge, Elsa, was AMAZING. Her communication was unbelievable from beginning to end. She helped us with absolutely everything, was incredibly responsive, went above and beyond every single time we needed something, and was always so warm, friendly, and welcoming.And then there was our house mom, Alexa, who made the entire trip feel almost surreal. She arrived every morning at 8:00, prepared amazing breakfasts, cleaned the house, made us snacks, kept everything organized, and even did our laundry. Coming back each day to a spotless home with everything taken care of was a level of service we have never experienced before.The house was spectacular, the location was incredible, and Elsa and Alexa made us feel completely spoiled. An absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and cannot recommend it highly enough!"

"We had a wonderful 7 night stay at this property. The amenities were great - the pool was very large and clean, the outdoor eating area was well maintained and had brand new appliances, and the beach is just steps away. We were a party of 9 but the house could easily have accommodated a larger group. The house moms and maintenance staff were very helpful and friendly, including the concierge Elsa, that helped us book a number of activities. The construction next door was not an issue and consisted mostly of finishing type work. Overall, a beautiful and clean house that I would strongly recommend."

"Amazing!!! That’s the most accurate way to start this review as I could see easily write a short thesis of how great everything was about our experience with the property, management team, check-in process, location….we took our family of 6 (my wife and I two teenagers and two adult kids in their late 20’s) and we had the best time we could have hoped for. Joel and his team at Hacienda Pinilla were amazing every step of the way. Their timely snd responsive communication is the best I have seen from any VRBO property I have rented over the last decade making everything so easy and enjoyable. The property itself made us speechless upon arrival and the pictures as nice as they are don’t do the property and location enough justice because it’s 100 times better than what we were expecting. The house is beautiful, spacious, modern and perfectly equipped for a family of 6 as we had a full bedroom to spare. The location was spectacular in terms of its beauty, access to beaches and other top notch amenities like the beach club which was a short golf cart ride away(definitely rent a golf cart, Joel and his team will help you with that). The location was perfect as it was minutes away from beautiful beaches and fabulous restaurants. We have gone to Maui for decades as a family, I will say after this trip we will be spending more time in Costa Rica and likely in this area!!"

"Amazing property - even better than it shows in pics! Beach Club at Hacienda Pinilla was fantastic - can’t beat it for 5/day. Eduardo (driver) and Yary (housekeeper) were fantastic. Service is over the top.Melissa (owner) booked all our excursions so it was super easy to just go through her. Only part we failed to understand… drive time to excursions, grocery stores, etc. Everything takes MUCH longer to get to than you would expect so bake that into your timeline. Catamaran and waterfall hike were our favorites. Beautiful country - just need some more asphalt :) Already planning our next trip back!"

"We had a great time at El Respiro. The house is large, well equipped and comfortable. We did not have any issues, but Alejandro was a very communicative and approachable host from early until check out. We will definitely look for this house again in our next beach holiday!"
