"Hotel Malts was an exceptional stay. Professionally run with sweet touches that made us feel welcome from the first moment. Answered all of our questions kindly and gave helpful information, gave us tea, coffee, fresh oj and pastries galore. The rooms are outstanding! Floor to ceiling windows, well appointed WC’s. Step out the door and you are basically on the main square. Because of this hotel, Haarlem was the favorite stop of our 3 week trip in Europe."

"The only issue was the noise of the daily set up of the umbrella stands and the Saturday farmers market (at 4:30 - 6:30 AM!!!!!) after the noise from bars until 2:30 am. Otherwise it was a great stay and the views from the windows of our room facing the plaza spectacular!"
