It is a lovely looking motel, parking is great. We had a family room (room 18) The beds were terrible. Springs were apparent while trying to sleep in the queen bed. The single bed was wobbly and my daughter fell out of it. In the separate room, the two beds the one on the left had a hairnet in the bed, but other than that the shower was great. There was milk in the fridge. I was so tired I would’ve slept on a concrete slab.

Thank you for your review. We are happy to say we have now replaced all the beds in Room 18 with all new beds. Also two other rooms have all new beds.

Unit was a little tired, but I was very happy to find a motel that could accommodate me at this time when the town was busy. Easy walking distance to town centre was a bonus.

It was a good position, and the greeting at reception was very welcoming. One slight annoyance was that there were no tissues in the room. I would stay here again though.

The advertised pool was a disgrace &the advertised BBQ was a rust bucket & not usable.Place needs a whole new update.

Hello Shirley, Old management of this motel have now been removed. New management is now in place. The pool was decommissioned and should have been removed from all advertising, along with the BBQ. We stayed here due to location to the hospital which was good. The Room (#10) is very tired with broken towel rails, no bath mat and no fridge shelves. Reasonably clean although carpet felt tacky. Lady very helpful however elderly man quite rude and didn’t seem to know what was going on (he couldn’t find my booking which was clearly in the system). Overall a reasonable stay for the price.

Don’t stay here
Our room looked nothing like the photos. The smoke detector had been removed, no towel rail at all in the bathroom, light fixtures full of bugs, and the pool was empty.

Rooms very dated, smell bad and Aurcon doesn’t work. It is by far not worth the $155, more like $70 a night. There wasn’t even a car park infront of the room. Staff are really nice people and very welcoming won’t stay there again, ever.

This property advertised there is a pool however it has not been able to be used for quite some time and is empty (since last summer according to the owner ), there is no laundry (not for at least 100 years according to the owner), no bbq, it is tired and run down probably due to impending ownership changes. Room fittings are broken or rusting. Beds horribly uncomfortable although the bedding is okay. If you have issues deal with it before you leave as it is difficult afterwards particularly if you have paid directly. There is mould from recent flooding the owner advised they were addressing.

They advertised room service and breakfast but on checking I was told they don’t do it. They got may payment and then walked away. The aircon didn’t get cold. Will never stay there again

Not great at all. Place has holes in walls everywhere patched up with cardboard. We stayed upstairs and people all sit on the stairs smoking so not only could we not get to our room but everytime we opened our door the smoke would come in.

Shower ran all night, no towel rails no toilet roll holder, bathroom old and unclean, pool was green and filthy, curtains old and deteriorating. All in all we couldn’t get out of there quick enough, it was horrible.

if you said cancel bookings on arrival time , yes we cancel your bookings . bad reviews when you're leaving is not fix they problem
