Staff were friendly and helpful , the room was basic and not well maintained. Bed was hard, television had only one channel, SBS. The bathroom has no bench space at all, only one small wall cabinet but when you are staying overnight people use toiletry bags which had to be on the floor. Needs updating. Most motels are full these days so to attract customers coming back they need to refresh their rooms.

Convenient spot to stop on drive from Melbourne. Simple o/n. Very very hot day so having bedrooms with separate air conditioners in each were very appreciated (travelling with two teenage children)

Up to its usual high standard and that is why we keep returning to stay. It is probably time to service and clean the air conditioner in room 19 to bring it back to full functional capacity. There is no better place to stay in Gundagai.

Overall a nice, clean, convenient place to stay. The sign outside says ‘Free Wifi’. It is free, in fact it cost nothing at all to connect to any one of the motel’s four WiFi routers. The problem was none of them had any connectivity! Very frustrating! The manager wasn’t able to help at all, blaming recent hail for the lack of connectivity.

Convenient location for walking to local supermarket and Services Club for dinner. Room was very clean. Room smelt very strongly of carpet cleaner/chemicals. Bed linen did not fit the bed - appeared to be ‘double’ size on a Queen bed, meaning the top sheet did not cover us on the sides and the bottom sheet did not tuck under the mattress. Stains on curtains where you place your hands to opens them up - possibly old blood. Room was otherwise dry clean and tidy. Bathroom very clean and tidy. Very basic accommodation. Extremely large room - plenty of space to place bags etc. and to move around freely.

We had an enjoyable overnight stay at Gabriel Motor Inn. Check in was fast, room clean, bed comfortable and shower great. Close to shops and club.
