Last Minute Gulf Getaway

We decided to take a last minute trip with 6 of our kids and found this place to stay. We loved it. It was clean, exactly as described, and the view better than the pictures! Check in was easy. The walk to the beach is about 5 minutes and it was not crowded at all. The pool was nice, and sunset pictures from the roof were amazing. We will definitely be back!

Snowbird stay

Unit was clean and met all our needs. Toured Fort Morgan and thoroughly enjoyed the rich history there! There is some kind of 'beeping' alarm that is heard all day at the resort--don't know what that is, but obnoxious at times.

Won't be back

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: would not recommend staying here. Not clean, pans were not usable, plunged what looked like a wig out or the bathtub (human hair which was size of an animal), floors not clean. Gym doesn't open until 7;30am (who works out after 730?) kid pool closed. etc. not a good experience.

Condo Review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 1. My crawling grandbaby's knees, feet and hands,within 30 minutes of being in the condo, were black from the filthy floors. Not only that, but the floors also were covered with sand which we had to clean upon entering. 2. Every room had electrical outlets that didn't work. We had to make a trip the evening we arrived to purchase extension cords to the tune of $50. 3. The living area furniture needs to be replaced. One end of the sofa felt like it had a hole wearing through to the bottom. We put towels over the sofa and chairs to sit on due to the dirty conditions. 4. The dryer wouldn't dry our clothes. My husband cleaned the lint trap and it literally looked like it had never been cleaned. It's in the back of the drum of the dryer and not easily seen. So a note should be placed for future guests to know where it is. It was definitely a fire hazard upon us arriving and attempting to use. 5. The icemaker in the refrigerator didn't work well. There was ice; however, only 3 or 4 pieces would dispense at a time.6. Not to mention having the pool be closed for most of our vacation. Our family has stayed in this building and the Dunes for years. This review is for this condo and building. It’s kind of difficult to suggest to friends and family given our experience. I mean, once you’re there there’s not much you can do. All other places are booked, thus, the reason behind my answer for “would you recommend this property to a friend”.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were not sure what we would find as a result of Hurricane Sally but the condo was pretty much the same as the last time we stayed. Some small improvements need to be made when possible. Weatherstripping of the front door, door knobs for the kitchen and bathroom and an overhead light in the livingroom. great view from the balcony. The grills need attention(new grid for the coals). We had to contact security at 1:00am because of loud music and yelling. Next year I will keep the security # on my phone. With us being on the 7th floor, the construction noise was quite significant. Looking forward to being able to use the upper deck area.

They take care of you have great customer service and some of the best prices around. They treat you like family and make any wrongs ( if any) right. You will not go wrong choosing Sunset Properties, give em a try and if you enjoy the area like we do you will be back year after year like us.

Fort Morgan Vacation

I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our trip to your property was for a 2 week period. We found the condo in fairly good shape considering your recent weather problems. Our rooms were in need of a deep cleaning. Our bathrooms needed attention and the bedrooms were very dusty. It was necessary to wash all of the stoneware and glasses as they were greasy. After we did our own housecleaning the rooms were very accommodating. It was necessary to change the lightbulbs in both bathrooms in order to see. There was no outside lighting in the hallway making it difficult to enter the entry code. We truly enjoyed the view from the rooms and the lovely pool.

Loved the property and easy check in. Didn’t like having to use code for pool. Neighborhood was awesome. Short walk to beach. Set up and left our tent and belongings all week. Condo was nice. Mattresses need to be turned or replaced were not comfortable.

The condo was large, comfortable and my wife and I loved the decor. The area is quiet and the beaches weren’t over crowded. We would definitely come and stay again.

Smoke alarm chirping for three days

The property was great same as the pictures. Very clean. The property was damaged in th hurricane 6 months ago so I’m guessing that’s why the smoke alarm kept chirping like it needed a battery change. My husband changed the battery, still chirping so I contacted the property. They said they would come and fix it. They never did. We had to listen to the annoying beeping sound for four days. Also the cable in the bedrooms did not work. I contacted the property about it snd they said this is ongoing problem with the building basically they said there was nothing they could do. Frustrating

Great family place.

We loved this place. Its beautiful and a great location. The only down side was no furniture outside to relax and enjoy the view and it was hard to track down another parking pass. I would definitely be more than happy to book here again.
