Perfect place to stay while visiting Gulf Shores!

Loved this property for out stay in Gulf Shores. Amazing views, very comfortable and welcoming penthouse. Beds were very comfortable and it just felt like home. Close to restaurants and bars and the beach is right outside. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Perfect family getaway!

My husband and I brought our three kids and my parents together here for a short spring break trip, it was perfect! Location is awesome, the space had the perfect amount of rooms and common spaces for quality time. The building set up makes it easy as the parking and the unit itself are less than 50 ft from the elevator. They provided everything we could’ve needed and the checkout instructions were reasonable and I didn’t feel like someone’s housecleaner! The host was quick to respond and accommodating. I will be back again soon!

We were hesitant to stay on the 20th floor. However, it was amazing! The elevator was fast and we never had to wait. The view was amazing. The location is great. The condo is spacious and 4 bathrooms was a bonus touch.

Excellent choice for our vacation

Perfect location- in the heart of all the activities, shopping and restaurants, yet at the end of a long line of high rise condos so you don’t have quite as much traffic on the beautiful beach in front of you. Clean property, comfortable beds, stunning view of the coastline. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay- Kerry kept in contact with us for a few minor details. If we are able to come back for another vacation in this area, we would definitely rent this condo again. Loved it and our older teens, adult children, and my elderly folks all had the comforts of their own bathrooms and plenty of space in their respective bedrooms. Thank you for a wonderful vacation at your condo, Kerry!

Loved the location and space

The property is on the 20th floor of a 21 story building (not exactly the penthouse, but close) and has a wonderful balcony to enjoy the views. The pool is nice for children (2.5 feet on both sides with a "deep end" of 4 feet. It is a little complicated to get from beach to pool (you must take the elevator) and it requires that you memorize a couple codes to get there. If you forget and ask the security guard, he may or may not be helpful. Overall though, it is a lovely location with a great beach and it is close to the pier and state park, so a little less crowded than further west.

Colonnades experience.

Arrival and getting in was easy. There building a condominium next door and was loud during the week. They were working on about the 20th floor cement got on my vehicle and had to go clean it. Condo was 4 bedroom and a pull out so sleeps 10. Pullout couch needs replaced or worked on. With 10 person condo I would think 2 parking passes would be provided but only give one pass so had to get with property manager and get another parking pass for 100 dollars before the security commando did towed away. Don’t know why 10 person condo only gives 1 pass unless you travel in bus? Condo and facilities were good over all adequate furnishings. Not bad location but the blocks are long and it is a walk to get to the restaurants. If your older and want to walk to things find something closer.

Perfect beach getaway

Absolutely amazing panoramic views from the 20th floor. We had a wonderful time! Kerry was incredibly responsive to all of my questions before, during and after our stay. It was our first time to Gulf shores and they provided recommendations on where to eat, get groceries,etc. Cooking was a breeze with the fully equipped kitchen. Keeping our wine chilled in the wine cooler was nice as well. The beach was never crowded and it was clean. We rented chairs and umbrellas which were set up and put away by a service company. We felt safe leaving our car in the parking lot since there was a very attentive parking lot attendant.

Absolutely amazing!

The property description on VRBO doesn't do this condo justice! First, the master bedroom is on the opposite side of the condo. Totally separate from the other 3 rooms. (Major plus for me!)The master bath has a large jetted tub, that actually fits 2 people. The stand up shower in the master bath has dual shower heads. The view from the main balcony was breathtaking! If we weren't at the beach, we were on the balcony! My husband, myself, our 2 adult daughters, their significant others, my 16 yo & her best friend went. The set up was perfect for our group, all the adult couples got a room with private bathrooms, while the teenager's bathroom was across from their room. However, they did have access to the second smaller balcony. Since we were on the beach & on the 20th floor, we could allow the kids to come and go, yet still watch them to ensure safety. Very close to The Hangout & souvenir shops. Again, perfect for teenager's, many things within walking distance. If we need this size of condo again, this would definitely be my first choice!

My happy place

Gulf Shores has always been my Happy Place. I’ve been coming at least once a year for 30 years. Kerry was very responsive through the whole process, from reservations to resolving an issue. We rented 2 condos at the Colonnades because we needed space for 20. We got married in north Alabama and brought many of our friends and family on our honeymoon. The other condo we rented had issues and was a major pain. This condo was excellent! The view was unmatched, beds were perfect, kitchen was large and well stocked, balcony was large and we had no problem accommodating 10-12 at a time. We found the condo clean and tastefully decorated. Upon checking out, Kerry’s housekeeper, Deborah, was a few minutes early, which we didn’t mind at all. She was so pleasant and personable. Upon arrival, the dishwasher did not work. When I contacted Kerry, he promptly dispatched his maintenance man. The diagnosis was full replacement. Kerry immediately purchased a new one, but installation was backed up a week, therefore it was not installed during our stay. We didn’t mind at all because Kerry was so quick to respond and communicate. We knew it was out of his control. There were so many of us, we just took turns washing dishes. 😁. The dryer will soon need to be replaced, as it takes longer than usual to dry towels, but it worked, and we didn’t complain. We had the most awesome honeymoon, surrounded by loved ones in a fantastic location. I will DEFINITELY be contacting Kerry again!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 💯💯💯💯💯
