Sun Baby provides most everything you need for your Gulf Shores vacation. Located on quiet West Beach, we are within walking distance of Wave Grocery and Beach House Kitchen and Cocktails. The main beach intersection is only 1.5 miles away and features the famous Pink Pony Pub, The Hangout, the Sun Liner Diner, Souvenir City, and several other souvenir and supply shops.

Great place to stay!

We had a great stay with our kids at this property. The host was very good at communicating and responding right away. The location is great, right across the street from the beach and walking distance to an ice cream shop and seafood market.

Great property and experience!

Check in was simple and easy, great location and property was clean and organized. Close walk to the beach, great access to restaurants and activities. Only critique would be more toilet paper stocked and dish towels but we made it work. Thanks for the great beach trip with the family and we would definitely stay here again !

Loved the place! Private balcony with a gate for the pups was a plus! Everything within walking distance! Highly recommend for a pet friendly beach vacation!!

Great time! Close to lots of fun places

Property is a short walk to downtown Gulf Shores. Bar/restaurant and grocery store around the corner. Cabin was cleaned and well stocked.

Gulf Shores getaway

Sun Baby was a perfect place for our family vacation, and even better that our dogs were welcome. The house was very clean and well equipped and we loved that it was just a short walk across the street to the beach. We also liked that it’s a short drive to all the shops and restaurants in the center of town. We’d certainly consider returning if we visit Gulf Shores again.

Quaint Beach House for Family

The house was perfect for our family and our little dog. Pool is a few steps away and the beach was a short walk. Budget friendly as well! We will definitely stay here again.

Convenient to the beach!

Very happy with this little bungalow. It is very close to the beach, literally across the street. So nice to have a kitchen and washer/dryer combo. Lust a quick little walk from a little market and ice cream shop. Air is cold and it is spotlessly clean.

Wonderful!

A wonderful place to stay- even though we had 8 inches of snow! Very magical. The house was sturdy and close to the beach. Very clean and we loved that it was dog friendly. :)

The owner was great with communication, the location and private beach access was a blessing. Come stay at Sun Baby and bring a small family. The beach had all the seashells to collect on the shoreline and sand that was white and soft as snow.

Perfect Cottage

Sun Baby Cottage checked all the boxes: comfortable, cool, steps from the beach, squeaky clean, updated, beach vibe decor! If cleanliness, comfortable mattresses & pillows and an A/C that works is important to you - this is the place! Location was quiet but super close to everything that counts, especially the beautiful beach! Absolutely recommend and we would book here again!

I will rent from Melissa every year! All her rentals are clean w everything you need plus extras, like we forgot our fan to sleep w for sound , she had one there! Its very close to beach and there's a bar/ restaurant ,convenient store , ice cream and seafood market right around the corner. We can't wait to return!

Perfect!

My family and dog really enjoyed our stay at sun baby. It was such a perfect location, walkable distance to restaurants, store, and the beach access was incredibly close. The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was fully stocked and updated, the kitchen was supplied with essentials to make meals. We loved having access to a washer and dryer during our stay. The outside shower was perfect to rinse off before walking in. We will definitely be booking here again.

Super cozy/cute beach house!

My family (husband and I plus teenage daughter and grown son) so enjoyed our stay! The house is very convenient to the beach access. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had the basic supplies needed. We also brought our two mini schnauzers. I wish the green space had been a tad bigger and there were lots of sticker burrs. But they loved hanging our with us on the deck in the evenings! We would definitely rent this place again!

Cute and adequate

Overall the property was good. Few minor improvements needed (hole in side of home, shower door handle falling off) and a deep cleaning completed. The furniture in living room has stains and a smell, lots of dog hair under couches and floors were sticky and dirty. We would have swept but couldn’t find a broom or maintenance closet with any cleaning supplies.It is located in the heart of things and within walking distance to the beach and small grocery store. Pool is small but nice and the chairs on the porch were great in the morning and evening.The home is tilted a little and you feel when someone is walking or moving in the bunkbeads. It sways/rocks more like an RV than a home.Overall, it was what we needed for a short trip to visit family.

SunBaby #1 was cozy and great for the family and dog

Really enjoyed this adorable, cozy, clean beach cottage! Couldn't find the sheets for the pull out sofa at first, but it was my bad - the owner was super responsive and helpful. Was able to fit an XXL crate in the corner for our standard poodle, and it was a great environment for him and our family to play and interact. The bathroom was gorgeous with enough hot water and shower space. Liked the in-cottage stacked washer and dryer - the loads were small but it did the job. The view was nice, porch was excellent, stairs were a bit steep but very sturdy with a good railing. Great area to walk and potty the dog as long as your dog doesn't care about traffic. We walked over to a few stores to get sundries and ice cream/pizza. The beach was super close and a nice easy walk. No dogs on the public beach, but the Dog Pond was a quick drive and a fun few hours of doggie fun in the water with the kids. 2 parking spots come reserved with this property, which was nice. The (unheated) pool was enjoyable and clean, with a good sunbathing area, and even some kids deck chairs. Really enjoyed having our own space (no shared walls/ceilings/floor with other guests), and would highly recommend this property to others.
