Morgan's Escape is the best location. Close to beach and pool!!!

'Morgans Escape' is a comfortable beach house located 200 yards from the beautiful private beach of Morgantown. You can sit on the swing or an adirondack chair on the front porch (38 feet long) and listen to the ocean waves while enjoying Gulf views.. The children can swim in the pool located right next to the house - or ride your bicycle along Fort Morgan Road, play tennis or just walk along the beach and collect shells. You can do as much or as little as you want in Fort Morgan.

Fort Morgan is a 20 mile peninsula bordered to the north by Mobile Bay and to the South by the Gulf of Mexico and Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge. There are several world class golf courses located within a few miles of the house (Kiva, Peninsula and Plantation). The Ft. Morgan Marina & Tacky Jacks restaurant are just down the road where you can launch your boat or book a fishing charter. You can also take a ferry to Dauphin Island for a day trip (visit the estuarium or just ride bikes). Other area activities include shopping at Tanger Outlet Mall, visiting the waterpark in Gulf Shores, going on a Dolphin cruise, or playing miniature golf.

There are many excellent restaurants in the Fort Morgan/Gulf Shores area and a wide selection of Arts & Antiques stores in the city of Fairhope - about 45 minutes away.

'Morgans Escape' has a large kitchen and living area with plenty of room for the family to visit and have fun. Two bedrooms open to a back deck. There is a large dining table and a card table for games. There is a swing, picnic table and hammock under the carport. Dogs and children are welcome. These are pictures I've taken over the years.

Family Beach Vacation

Wanted a beach vacation for two families. We both rented a cottage in Morgan Town neighborhood. It was a perfect location, great neighborhood and would recommend this rental.

Summer Vacation

This is a great property to stay at for a family trip. There is lots of space for our family to hang out. The proximity to the beach and the pool is awesome. Owners are easy to contact. Great vacation!

Great Beach house

This beach house is very cute and so convenient to the beach and the size of the house was perfect for us. We loved everything about it. The only thing I can possible recommend is having a fan that you can plug in outside. The back porch gets a breeze but the front not so much. Will definitely rent this house again!

We had a fabulous, relaxing stay at Morgan's Escape. The proximity to the beach is perfect! The kitchen is stocked with more applicances, dishes, pots & pans than one could ever even use! The beds were comfortable and everything was spotless. The ONLY drawback to our trip was getting chomped alive by the gnats ("no-see-ums") on the front porch the first night. No fault of the homeowners, but MAN oh MAN, those gnats were ferocious. Pack your bug spray. We would happily stay in this house again.

Another pleasant stay

We, (husband, dog, myself) had a relaxed Thanksgiving week in Morgantown at Morgan's Escape. The neighborhood and beach are peaceful. We used the large Morgantown pool and the tennis court. It was easy to carry my paddle board down to the beach. The house is very clean and well equipped. It is about time for a new bed in the primary suite and a refreshed rug in the dining room and I'm sure these are the types of things that all nice rental properties replace frequently. We love the spacious front porch for coffee and reading. I felt safe leaving my paddle board on the porch or in the concrete area under the house. This is a terrific property in Morgantown!

Great house with a fully stocked kitchen. Perfect for a family stay! Great location to the beach. The neighborhood did a wonderful fireworks show on July 4th!

Three generations enjoyed our time in this roomy house just a short walk from the beach! Pool next door, hammock and porch swings, fully stocked kitchen, and places for everyone to sleep! Don’t hesitate to book this place. Great neighborhood, too!

Easy beach getaway

This was a great spot for our family of 5 to spend the holidays. Very short walk to the beautiful, spacious beach. If you want a quiet spot with a good beach that’s off the beaten track, this is it.
