Looking for an very nice, upscale home to house a large group of people but you’d like to save a few dollars in the deal? This wonderful duplex has 6 bedrooms and 6 baths on each side. Want more? How about great internet on a wifi mesh network? An EXTRA fridge for all those shrimp and beach beverages? Each beach access and a great price point. What's not to love?

This listing is for ONE SIDE, with 6 bedrooms. For both sides, and 12 bedrooms, see our Casa Playa, East & West listing or just inquire. One side perfect for your group? Book our Casa Playa, East and Casa Playa, West listings for the individual units. Note, there IS a connecting door between the two sides in the living room areas. Like a connecting hotel room, it can be opened if guests rent both sides.

ALL bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with combo shower/tubs. The 2nd Floor LR and Bonus QSS use a common bath separate from that level's bedroom. 

BEACH ACCESS
Casa Playa is located on the north side of West Beach Boulevard, directly across the street from the beach and you can see the beach! You have beach access at the 12th (3 mins, < .1 mile!) and 13th street public beaches, PLUS a large pool private to just the guests of Casa Playa. We aren’t talking about blocks to reach the beach, it’s right across the street, .1 miles to the west!

POOL? You bet!
BIG outdoor pool (shared only between the two sides).

PARKING
There is available onsite parking for at least 6 cars per side. More if you park under then home and stack carefully. Just share nice with the neighbors! 

WIFI/INTERNET
YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally solid and ran > 100Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!

SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETC
As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also...  all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well. 

No smoking please. No pets.

Perfect location!

Fantastic fall vacation!

We had a great time at Casa Playa. There was plenty of room for all of us. Loved having two refrigerators. The front deck was nice for seeing the ocean in the distance. Great price too. We will definitely consider coming back here, and strongly recommend it to others!

Great budget friendly location

We appreciated how detailed the listing was, so there were no surprises. We already had room assignments for all the children before arrival ! It was a great budget friendly location that was quiet enough for the grown ups for daytime and close enough to kid activities. We plan to visit again next year and hopefully, the whole group can join us.

LOVED Casa Playa!

We had a wonderful stay in your property a couple of weeks ago. We were a bit worried about hearing the other party that was staying on the other side of the house but we didn't hear a peep! Thanks again for hosting us! If you'd like any feedback on what to add to the place, I'd add more kitchen/ cooking knives. Your kitchen was very well stocked aside from the lack of kitchen knives.

Amazing for our family

House was amazing for our family. Stayed in both sides of Casa Playa. The management company did a great job. Great job having two refrigerators per side, plenty of sleeping quarters. Exactly what we needed!

We had a wonderful stay! Your place was exactly what we needed. It was a great location for the beach, amenities and the softball fields we needed to access on most days. It was great to also have the option of a pool. We did run into some trouble with the keypad lock but called the appropriate number right away and they were at the house within 5-10 minutes working on it. We enjoyed our stay and the wonderful weather as well. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home. If we get the opportunity to come back we will look at this location for its availability first!

Both sides great!

We rented both sides of Casa Playa--this one a little longer. We loved being able to open the door between the sides, and having two kitchens and livings and everything. As I said in my review of the east side: "I can't say enough about how great a time we had in your home. Very clean, comfortable for all of us. Seemed like it was just updated too. We very much enjoyed ourselves and hope to come back in the future. Highly recommend Casa Playa AND Bama Beach Houses. Thank you for having us!" Thanks again.

Awesome place!

Pretty awesome place! Other than a few spots of dust in the house, it was a clean house. We didn't originally realize this place was a duplex with us only renting one side of the building. The pictures make it seem like you get the whole place but it wasn't until the night before check in when I was doing a little bit of deeper reading that I saw it was a duplex that we would potentially be sharing the other side and pool with other guests. Overall, we had a great time and I would rent from them again!

Perfect for our group of ol' golfers

The guys were all very happy with everything and we reupped for next year. There were no complaints and no sand burrs found inside and no one got an eye out! We allow no outside shoes past the front door. The house is perfect for our group of ol' golfers from all over the country. Plenty of individual beds and we love west beach. Thank you for the upgrades to the house last year as well! Look forward already for next year. Go Hoosiers!!!!

This property was awesome! Great location. Beach access is not a far walk! Private pool was nice to have! Check in process was super easy and the owners answered all my questions anytime I messaged!
