Bonita Breeze is within walking distance to the semiprivate beach. You have neighbors but separated with trees. It is not directly in the Hussle and bussel but close enough drive that you can get to Gulf shores beach or orange beach not to far away. There is a handful of places to eat close by but mostly a drive and wait to eat supper. Give yourself plenty of time. The semi private beach was never overcrowded and nice white fluffy beaches. The house was clean, easy access, and would consider staying again. The only entrance to the home is stairs, so if you have difficulty walking up stairs this location would not be for you. Reed Reality was great at communicating through check in and check out.
Clean, nice property, good access to everything but isolated enough to be a retreat. Walkable beach access, great for morning and evening strolls.

Bonita Breeze
The property was outstanding! The private beach pass was great that was included with our stay especially since we had little ones and did not want to fight the crowds. The secluded area was a perfect place to relax and truly enjoy our vacation. Property was very clean and had everything we needed. Will probably be renting this property in future years
Bonita Breeze is tucked away on a gravel dirt road. We did not use any beach access (if there was any) off of the neighborhood. It is local to the Dollar General which was nice. When we arrived the house appeared very clean with the exception of the dead cockroaches in each of the bedrooms. The pull out couch was miserable to sit or lay on. I would highly recommended bringing a topper or for the host to provide one. The bedrooms were nice. The air conditioning went out on us twice to which the property manager promptly sent maintenance to repair. We appreciated that the kitchen was stocked with common items. If I needed a place to stay while in Gulf Shores I would consider this as an option but would look elsewhere first.
Nice location, close to gulf shores. Quick walk to the beach, private access was a plus. Pull out couch was a little uncomfortable for the kiddos but we made do. Very nice they allow pets!

The property was spacious and clean. A little tired around the edges.
The house was fine. The location also. The neighborhood was very dark, rural, only dirt roads, empty houses and uncomfortable. I stayed in a hotel until my husband arrived.
This is evidently an old fishing camp from 1953, very livable, great a/c and hot water. Very clean laundry room. Was very impressed with overall cleanliness/and bathrooms great!. I would personally remove or wash the curtains/and shower curtains throughout, especially in living room where handled coming in through the door. I was disappointed with the quality of sheets - paper thin on both beds, and the linens for the pullout were terrible. (*I had brought my own for pullout). The screened in back porch was great and very peaceful. I would probably add a few amenities as there was no paper towels, no dish liquid, no pods for dishwasher or nothing for laundry. If you had a pay it forward system you would probably reap plenty of benefits. I personally went to local Dollar General and ended up leaving paper towel, dish liquid, dishwasher pods, case of water in refrigerator, a few trash bags, toilet paper and laundry supplies along with paper plates and solo cups. I have also stayed in the area where they left the downstairs room available and had beach supplies, kids toys, crab net, bubbles, blow up toys, etc. These kind of supplies are difficult to travel with, much needed and expensive to purchase, but people will often times leave what they bought and add to your supply. An outside picnic table underneath would be great and the supplied grill was a wonderful asset. (this will be needing replacement soon). But all in all this is a great location, away from the "condos" but is a trip into town if you aren't willing to do some cooking, local restaurants are great, but always very busy. We took the ferry in/out and shopped at the Dollar General - pretty laid back trip and stayed away from all the people! Great private beach area....white sand, sun and fun. Great girls trip!
Property was in a great location and we enjoyed our stay. I would stay at this place again

Very Disappointed
There were many issues with this property. The roads in the community where this home is located are not well maintained; there are many large holes and lots of mud when it rains. The lock on the exterior door did not work well, necessitating multiple calls to the property manager. We finally figured out if you input the code, push in the door and then pull it out, it would open. The house was not clean; there was black scum around all the faucets, the curtains had large stains as did the bedroom carpets. We found dirty dishes and silverware in the cupboards. Appliances, both large and small, were old and worn. One of the burners on the stove only ran on high. The toaster was old and missing the crumb tray. Pots and pans were worn, with the Teflon coating totally scratched off. There was minimal water pressure in the master bathroom. My husband cleaned out the faucet aerators and then they worked. There was no hot water pressure in the kitchen and before we left the water quit working altogether, necessitating a visit from a handyman. Before we arrived we checked with the property manager to see if we needed to bring linens. We were told they were supplied. The kitchen was stocked with one kitchen towel and one dish cloth. Bath linens were cheap hotel grade, made up of four bath towels and two or three hand towels, which I had to use as kitchen towels. There were no blankets on the beds. The one 'spare' blanket that I found was worn and had half the satin edging ripped off. There were many lightbulbs burnt out throughout the home and the ceiling light in the bedroom walk-in closet worked only half the time. The screened in patios were in disrepair and dirty. A screen was missing from one of the doors and the couch cushion was ripped all the way across. A toss pillow was full of mildew. The outside of the home had trash laying in the backyard, an old bucket, old drapery, old sink, boards, and concrete blocks. The only good things about this home were that it had laundry facilities and was within walking distance of the beach. After being in the home for multiple days the issues became overwhelming, so we reached out to the property manager. The first person we spoke with shared many excuses, i.e., back to back tenants so no time to deep clean, tenants are responsible for making sure dishes are clean, not the property manager. Finally, after speaking with another person, some of the issues were cared for. We will not be back.
Had NO TOILET BRUSH NO DISH SOAP OR RAGS AND NO DISH WASHER DETERGENT. ALSO KITCHEN WAS POORLY STOCKED WITH NASTY POTS AND DATED DISH WARE. ALSO NO WIFI

Oven and communication issues
We arrived late Saturday evening and had issues getting into the property. The door code didn’t work and we had to call and get that resolved after traveling for 14 hours. We were called on the way down telling us a burner on the stove was damaged and would be fixed Monday. Not only was there a burner issue when we arrived, but the entire stove did not work. We emailed and called all emergency numbers and left messages. No one returned any if those messages. We called again Sunday night and actually spoke to someone that sent a repairmen out. Problem was fixed but not before we had to eat meals out when we had bought groceries to eat and make at the house. We emailed again and spoke to someone about being compensated for those meals out and was told they would do that for us. Well, that never happened and no one ever got back to us! Not good customer service!!!
This was the perfect getaway for us. We wanted a place that would allow us to social distance from the world - and enjoy the beach - and this was it! We would definitely return!
From booking to checking out, it was by far our best trip we have taken. The beds were comfy and the property was very clean! Dishwasher and washer and dryer worked great! We did get a warning at the beach only because our pass had fallen out of view on our dash, so I was glad to see the parking is managed well. Overall, this was exactly what we needed and plan on staying here again soon!
This house was perfect for us. We loved the screened in areas, but enjoyed the patio and balcony too. Comfortable living and some great art work. The private beach area was never crowded with too many people, and the ocean was clear and beautiful.
We had an amazing stay at Bonita Breeze. It's a quiet, secluded area of Fort Morgan, within a few minutes' drive to the private beach. The home was clean and perfect for our getaway (three adults). I most love the porch swing off the master bedroom. There are not any perks (bring dish soap, for example) but otherwise, we had a great time and will consider this house again for future vacations.
I was really impressed with the house and how clean it was.It was decorated nice and very comfortable. It was very convenient but off of the crowded path.

Idyllic location.
This beautiful little house near to Cabana Beach was in the perfect location for us, peaceful and with the pond around the back and amazing wildlife that used it made the back porch a great place to sit and relax. With highway 180 just at the end of Cabana Beach road it was easy to get to all the local attractions. Amazing country walks close by for those who love nature. The only drawback was no wifi in the house, but could be good for folk wanting to get away from it all. We will probably visit again.
