The Cozy Cottage at the Beach: Walkable Fun and Gulf Breezes Await

This charming stand-alone cottage may be compact, but it’s big on personality and perfectly positioned for laid-back days on the coast. Located just across a two-lane street from the Gulf, this pet-friendly retreat offers easy beach access and local flavor within walking distance.

Ideal for up to four guests, the home features two queen beds and one full bathroom, with essentials like a washer and dryer and a kitchenette equipped for simple meals and snacks. While there’s no dishwasher, you’ll find everything you need for an easygoing stay.

Kick back in the lounge area with a wall-mounted Smart TV and free WiFi, or head out to the spacious private deck—perfect for slow mornings with coffee or relaxed evenings under the sky.

When you're ready to explore, a marked pedestrian crosswalk takes you directly to the public beach access just steps away. After a day by the shore, stroll over to the nearby convenience store, grab a bite at the pizzeria, or enjoy a scoop of local ice cream in season. Don’t miss the fresh seafood market for a true taste of the coast.

This sweet cottage welcomes one well-behaved dog under 20 lbs (pet fee applies). Guests must be 25 or older to rent. Non-smoking property. Monthly rentals welcome.

Amazing Location, Amazing Property

I came with my friends, and we absolutely enjoyed the property! The location to the beach was something I cannot even explain! You are literally a one minute walk to the beach. The property was gorgeous, clean, and matched up just to the listing! 100% would rent again!

Check in was easy and company had excellent communication. House was clean and the size was good for a short getaway. I will warn there is no hood above the oven so when cooking I recommend opening the doors and turning the fans on. I also recommend bringing your own blankets if you get easily cold. There are light holes under the doors from seals being busted over time so we did have issues with some cockroaches coming in… Overall it held its purpose of a short getaway close to the beach and price matched the value.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We took a last minute quick trip before school started. Gulf Shores is one of our favorite places to visit. The girls quickly gave the house the nickname "big city green" after the cartoon. The access to the beach couldn't have been better. We loved not having to share the area with anyone so no noisy neighbors banging around on top of us or beside us. The house is small but we only slept and showered. The rest of our time we spent it out. For the price, I couldn't complain either! We would come back, in fact we are planning on it for next year. The staff were wonderful and kind. They checked in on us, gave us all the information we needed to contact them after hours and even anticipated our needs. Our family of 4 received the rest and relaxation we desperately needed. Thank you for making this such a great destination.

Cozy Cottage

Perfect house for two people and pet friendly. Very short walk to beach where you can rent umbrella and chairs. Everything in house worked perfectly and was exceptionally clean.

The kitchen could use some improvements. It would be nice to have another TV in the bedroom. The location was great. Easy access to the beach. Large back yard for the dogs. It would have been great if it were enclosed so the dogs could be off leash. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean. Could use some upgrades however we would stay there again.

Good place for a couple or small family

We enjoyed our stay. I would have like to have seen the back yard cleaned up better than it was. Being dog friendly, the back yard needed some work. The brush was grown up and left my pup with black needles all in his fur. Also beware of the sand spurs.

Peaceful getaway

Overall the stay was amazing, i wasn't aware it was a 2 apartment house. Im not sure if i overlooked that in the listing. Also the property would be above and beyond if the backyard was cared for and maintained. We had an issue with plumbing but the owner was there pretty fast which was pleasant. Will definitely come back and stay again.
