"Overall, it was a good stay. This place could be excellent with a little tweaking. The property is super cute. The house was very clean and looked exactly as the pictures describe. The finishes in the house are nice and give it an elevated feel. We especially enjoyed the hot tub at night to wind down before bed and the screened in porches! We ate every meal on the patio. "There was confusion at check-in. I had paid in advance through Expedia. When I checked in, I only gave my name. When the front desk tried processing the card that was on file for my reservation, it wouldn't process, so I was asked if I had another card. I gave the agent another card and it went through. Then at check-out, the front desk wanted to verify my email to send my receipt. The email on file was wrong. She then updated the email address and also printed the receipt. I reviewed the receipt and it had the wrong address. She then updated my address and reprinted the receipt. When I got home I noticed that the rates and final amount charged was more than I had paid through Expedia, so I'm hoping that I don't see additional charges on my credit card statement!!"

"I'll try to be as fair as possible, if you're looking for a true beach vacation, do NOT stay here, find something that is actually on the beach. It's only 6-8 minutes to get to the beach, but then you'll spend another 30 minutes fighting for a parking spot. And since you still have to pack your car with all your stuff, it doesn't matter if you're 2 miles or 20 miles from the beach, it's still a 'trip'. I was also disappointed that on the 1st day, they had a delicious biscuit and sausage gravy for breakfast, the rest of the time it was hamburger buns and oatmeal. Very disappointing! And the breakfast buffet ends at 9am... after being zapped by the beach the day before, that's a tough time to get down to. Make sure to brush up on your Spanish, cos 80% of the staff speak absolutely no English. It's only 4 stories, so your "view" will be the front parking lot and a highway, or the back hotel parking lot and the Publix parking lot. Also make sure to get two queens instead of a pullout sofa, it is worse than sleeping on a 25 year old futon, constantly squirming and shifting to try and get comfortable. The desk staff were very friendly, they spoke English very well. and they were incredibly helpful, too. But a soda is $3 and a candy bar is $4. The hallways on the 2nd and 3rd floors have a strong mildew smell, and the elevator has some horrid smell, we just had to hold out noses when riding it. Great hotel if you're just staying overnight, not for a true beach vacation."
