"Everything went well, clean room and good service except that we had to wait longer than expected for check in as we were told they were completing final checks for our room. "

"Beakfast was the best I ever have had, huge, but mostly for asian people but I (european) could find a lot to eat. I travel alone so the size of the room was ok I had a dubble bed, perhaps for 2 persons it is too small. I like that tre room had a balcony. The pool is big. The lobby is beatiful. No bottled water but there is water in the corridor so you can fill the big bottle which is in the room. The cleankeeper was very busy and come late when I was already back and needed to rest. I liked the location, it was easy to walk in many places. I would choose Lakeshore Hotel Tainan again if I come back to Tainan."

"The room is very dated and poorly maintained. There is mold stains in the grouts and staining in the fabric of furnitures and walls. We paid extra 1200NTD per night to upgrade the room but the supposedly renovated room still does not meet modern standards. I am very surprised this hotel has a 5 star rating. the staffs are nice though. "

"Very small rooms. Gets very noisy from adjacent rooms. AC doesn’t work as expected. Breakfast is strictly okay."

"The hotel’s attention to detail is exceptional. They even provide chopsticks, bowls, and other items guests might need for late-night snacks. Overall, many thoughtful touches were pleasantly surprising. It’s clean and well-located—within walking distance of the night market, which is perfect for food lovers."
