A house in Umbria for the fourth time in a row

We - two families from Vienna with their grown-up children - spent three pleasant weeks in Casa Rosalma. The house is located very secluded in a small valley, accessible via a 2 km long gravel road, which is in good condition. A nearby beautiful natural bathing place with a dammed creek brings some traffic during the day. The location is optimal to visit cities like Gubbio, Perugia or Assisi, all three are max half an hour away by car. And Umbria is beautiful as always! The house is large and well equipped, the pool very pleasant. A Dolphin or better cleaning equipment would have made it easier for us to keep the pool clean from the many insects and leaves that constantly fall in. In the three weeks of our stay we received fresh bedding and towels once, pool towels were none. There is no cell phone reception at the house - so communication is only possible via WLAN/WhatsApp. Stella, the landlady, was very friendly and responded quickly and competently even to minor problems and questions. Looks like we will be back to Umbria again next year!

Una favola da vivere

È stata la ns prima esperienza prendere una casa vacanza e non sarà L’ ultima, la casa è molto bella spaziosa ( eravamo in 11 persone 3 famiglie ) Fuori la piscina il giardino curato e questo casone in pietra sembrava di essere in una favola...il biliardo, le grigliate, piscina e tanto altro divertimento. Molto comoda posizione per visitare Gubbio, Assisi, Perugia e altro. La proprietaria molto gentile e disponibile. Per tutti quelli che vogliono stare in pace rilassarsi in una zona tranquilla ma comunque comodi per poter visitare Umbria e consigliato.

Tranquillité et confort

Casa Rosalma est une maison très tranquille, avec tout l'équipement nécessaire (y compris lave linge et lave vaisselle) et une belle et grande piscine que les propriétaires entretiennent régulièrement et discrètement pendant le séjour. Les conseils ne manquent pas pour bien profiter de la région et les questions ne restent jamais longtemps sans réponse. Grazie Stella et Valentina ! PS : un 4x4 n'est pas nécessaire pour arriver à la maison, il suffit de rouler lentement pour parcourir le chemin non asphalté qui y mène.

Prima locatie voor meerdere koppels of gezinnen

Geweldig ontvangen door de gastvrouw en qua levensmiddelen alles aanwezig; van honing tot diverse kruiden, vaatwastabletten tot olijfolie, wasmachine tot waterkoker, kortom zowat compleet. Pluspunten zijn de rust en de ruimte, natuur en een mindere natuur, snelle service bij bijv. stroomuitval, fijn zwembad, american pool/biljart, BBQ. Aandachtspunten; de bergweg naar beneden, kiezelweg(volgens 1 groepslid een romantische weg)aanbevolen zijn SUV's, veel zoemende insecten de hele dag door, neem anti insecten lampen mee, voor de avond citroenella's(te verkrijgen in de plaatselijke supermarkt), eventueel extra klamboe's voor de muggen. Vaatwasser en pooltafel gedateerd. Perfecte wifi, telefoonbereik door de bergen niet overal optimaal. Plaatselijk restaurant(15 min rijden) heerlijk en betaalbaar met prima uitzicht over de bergen. Geniet vooral van de natuur en de ruimte met als je toppunt het zien van de wilde zwijnen. Zon genoeg aanwezig en s'avonds genieten van de krekels en de sterren.

Perfect week in beautiful surroundings

We were three families with children on a one week trip and it was amazing.. Really lucky with the weather too, kids really enjoyed the pool and the house has plenty of space even for the 12 people. We felt welcome from the start, the hostess welcomed us with cold drinks , a bottle of wine and some local fruits and olive oil. Sightseeing was easy too, Umbria is really beautiful and the hostess provided us with lots of material about places to see. Half hour driving to Perugia and Assisi, Gubbio also close by. We still talk about our vacation and strongly consider to go back next year beacause a week in Umbria is definetely not enough :)
