Comfortable stay in convenient location

We had a very comfortable stay at Marcela’s apartment near Cayalá. The apartment was very clean and practical, and the location was great.

Only the cleaning, but the super friendly host responds quickly delighted with the attention and location of the place if your visit is to be in Cayala you have it walking a few minutes away and if you have a plan to go to the United States embassy super close 5-10 min by car

This place is amazing, and the owner answered super super quick and was there for anything you needed, she even made extra acomodations for me and my family, I thank her for her amazing services and she provided so many things to make sure we had a good time, i super recommend this property

Great Property, Fantastic Host

The apartment is ideally located near Cayala, the owner was very responsive and helpful, she answered immediately. Apartment has all you need and was very clean, located in a safe area, I went out to run every day and felt super safe. 5 mi n walk to Cayala . We HIGHLY recommend this property. Thank you Marcela foe making our visit to Guatemala more enjoyable

Secure place to stay

Everything is just as advertised. Well worth the stay. It’s a bit of a challenge entering and exiting the building, 2 elevators in different buildings required. After hours use the intercom to enter the building as security is watching and able to assist and direct you. The walk to Cayala is a 10 brisk minutes walk and requires crossing a busy street. Use the crosswalks and walk fast. Cayala is stunning and the food was delicious there.

We stayed for two nights, the property was big so we felt very comfortable, internet service for browsing was okay. There are many options to eat, Pollo Campero, TacoBell and McDonalds are about 5 minutes walking distance and 10 minutes from Ciudad Cayala. I would recommend to have better communication with the host, because you can't have visitors. We felt bad when 3 of our family members took us to the place and we felt intimidated by security with all the questioning. We understand it is for security reasons but that better instructions and communications would have been welcomed. Cdad Cayala is not big you don't need a lot of time to walk by and visit it takes about 3 hours if you eat there. Prices are extremely high. We paid $49 for two (tips were already included), no desert just a parrillada and two drinks, this is considered one of the least expensive so keep that in mind. There is not much to see around this area, if you really want to experience Guatemalan culture this is NOT the place. Overall if we ever decide to go back to that area, we would stay in this place again, there are a lot of more places in Guatemala where you can get to know its people and its culture.

Limpieza

Departamento agradable, bien cuidado, pero las sabanas no estaban recien lavadas y planchadas y la limpieza en la regadera tiene oportunidad, al haber hongos y olor. El departamento no cuenta con aire acondicionado.
