"We had an amazing time at Mikado. Everything was incredibly clean and we felt completely looked after. An amazing place to relax and unwind. The food was awesome, the beds and rooms were clean and super comfortable! We will definitely be back!"

"Beautiful home. Very modern and spotless with all amenities you can ask for, including everything you need for cooking your own meals, laundry facilities, free wifii and aircon. The pool was lovely, well maintained and perfect for cooling off in the heat. Also had a nice outdoor patio as well as a balcony off the master bedroom. The area is quiet and out of the way with good security. You can hear howler monkeys and birds when you wake up in the morning. Within a half hour drive to all the major beaches in the area. 5 minutes from the town of santa rosa where you can get some hot food and icecream. Can be a bit hard to find for the first time at night so better to locate during the day and a 4x4 is recommended due to having to travel on dirt roads for a short distance. Be careful in this area when using google maps and stick to the highways as much as possible as google will often try to shortcut you through impassable roads where you could get stuck. Overall this place is well worth the price. Would recommend."

"I spent two days here and it was unlike any other lodge/hotel I’ve been to before. The rooms are beautiful, the pool is stunning, the jungle gym is also such an amazing addition but nothing tops the the host himself, he made sure every question was answered and I truly felt at home almost 4000 km from Canada. Pura vida!!"

"This is a great place in the forest about 25 minutes to some popular beaches. We loved exploring the area. The cabin was super clean and comfortable and the deck area is beautiful to have coffee while listening to the howley monkeys. The pool area is nicely set up for photo opps. The cherry on top is that they're pet friendly. We will stay again. "

"I loved my stay at Pinilla Highlands. The views are amazing and the pool was perfect for a dip or to swim laps. The staff, Yuri, Hazel, and O'Neil, went out of their way to make sure your stay was perfect. It was so calm and serene. I went there to heal and received so much more than I ever would have expected. I went to various beaches most days. The only negative would be the dirt roads to get to Pinilla Highlands. I highly recommend this wonderful place to stay!!!"
