The Hoxton never disappoints. 3rd stay at a Hoxton after Rome and Edinburgh. They are all on par. The staff are lovely. The rooms are gorgeous and just the whole vibe of the place is good. Slightly out from the centre about a 15 minute walk to the Duomo but nice as quiet. Coffee shop in the hotel served nice coffee and there was a small pizzeria over the road ran by the loveliest old man. Drinks in the restaurant were also delicious.

Rooms on the lower floors near the piazza can be very loud. Street noise kept us awake. Somehow cigarette smoke was noticeable in the rooms. The smoke seemed to come thru the heating/cooling ducts. However the location is very good. Close to the train station and local attractions.

Warm and friendly welcome. Spacious room with remarkable view of the square and Duomo. Rooftop bar and terrace bar really great for soaking up Florence vibe. Staff excellent throughout.
Top tip: Be careful of the mosquitoes when the weather is hot! Hotel provides bug plug for room.

if you plan to leave the property know that there aren't many taxi or Ubers available and you will spend a lot of money alone on transportation. the rooms were cheap but the rides were more so in all fairness I would stay closer to Florence where there is more available transportation like a bus ...
