I had a great stay while in North Carolina. Coming back to the room every night felt comfortable, like I was coming back to my own home. Very quiet stay, very quiet neighborhood and no complaints. I would gladly stay there again.

Greensboro gem

Proximity to train station was a plus. Close enough to downtown to reach by foot. Rooms were clean and firnishings were nice.

Would stay again due to location.

I could tell an effort was made but a deep clean on baseboards and blind slats would’ve been appreciated. Fresh bedding, clean bathroom. Excellent location in a safe neighborhood. Good price!

Good for the price

The room was cute and clean. The plumbing in the bathroom was needing to be replaced but was functional. Overall it was fine for the couple of nights I was there..

Nicely Located Apartment

Was in town for a quick couple nights. Nicely Located Apartment not far from anything and everything you need in town. Easily accessable. Quiet area. Overall great location.

Good location

Stairs leading to apartment have lose and wobbly hand rails. Apartment was clean on the surface but there is old embedded dirt. Furnishings were of minimal quality at best. Neighborhood was quiet. Front door lock operated as the owner’s instructions said it would. Off street parking provided. Very good location to downtown Greensboro.

An ok place to stay for work

Overall, this place is okay. The highlight is the price, which is great, and the location is nearby downtown, it was quiet outside at night, and the kitchen and bathroom were nicer. The downside was that it felt stuffy and humid in the apartment and smelled of smoke (likely because neighbors smoke cigarettes out their front doors downstairs). The decor and furniture were old, and the bedroom was in the same room as the main door and a big window, making me wish the security was better. It was an okay place to rest my head while working in Greensboro, but I would not return for leisure.

Decent short term rental

Ease of access and communication with owner was great. At arrival there were some less than savory characters hanging out in the parking lot (assuming tenants of the building) but they didn’t bother us. Inside of home smelled a bit like stale cigarette smoke. I immediately retrieved my odor eliminator spray from my vehicle and gave the place a good spray throughout. No paper towels, hand towel, dish soap, sponge or anything like that in the kitchen so we weren’t able to wash out our cups, and had to go to the bathroom to wash our hands. Toilet is so close to the vanity that my hip touched the vanity when sitting on it (I am small, 5’1” and 150lbs) so def would be a difficult task for a larger person. Dining table is a bit big for the space it’s in so not really possible for 4 people to use. We chose to go out to dinner instead of ordering in because of this. Other than that it was reasonably ok for a short term stay.

We stay there every time for a reason

This is maybe the 3rd or 4th time we've stayed at this place and we keep coming back to it every time we're in town because of how convenient, clean, and affordable it has been. I'm in Greensboro about once a year for a comedy festival and the venue is 3 blocks from this place where we always try to stay. The location is great. It's just down the block from a nice little pizza place called The Corner Slice and a few blocks from one of my favorite places to go eat, Neighbors. Try the chopped cheese! The apartment we stayed in felt comfortable and safe. Everything was clean. There were even some drinks in the fridge for us, which was nice after a long trip to Greensboro. A comfy bed and couch and plenty of space for air mattresses or sleeping bags which is necessary for us since we had 4 comedians sharing the space. For us, I think the convenience to be able to walk to so many things is our favorite. The Idiot Box comedy club and Nextdoor bottle shop, Union Coffee, the baseball stadium. And then I discovered that you can almost see the children's museum from the apartment where we stayed. I may have to bring the family up and stay here again so we can walk to the children's museum. Just about everywhere I needed to go was a 5 minute walk away, and there are a few things that are only a slightly longer walk or you can jump on the Hopper trolley for free and get to things we love further downtown like The Boxcar arcade bar. It made Greensboro feel like home for a week.

The location was nice and it was quiet. The bed was comfortable, but that is where it ends. The unit was dirty, the oven door, outside, and sink and stovetop didn't look like they had been cleaned in months. The bathroom was also not very clean and the fixtures literally moved in the wall. The living room had horrible furniture covered with fabric covers and there was no light. The only thing that matched the rental photo is the blue bed and tan walls.

Very few amenities. The bed was small and not too comfortable. The apartment needs to be upgraded (paint, better couch, better mattress. Communication with management was excellent!
