Learn about the role Greensboro played in American history at the city’s museums. Tour the Greensboro Historical Museum to learn about a pivotal battle in the American War of Independence. Discover the part Greensboro played in the advancement of civil rights by visiting the International Civil Rights Museum. In 1960, four African-American students sat at a “whites only” lunch counter in this very building, the former F. W. Woolworth store. Refused service, they held a peaceful sit-in protest that spread throughout the country. See the original counter in the museum.

In the evenings, enjoy a glass of stout in an Irish pub, dine in an upmarket restaurant and dance in one of the live music clubs downtown.

The house was perfect! The house was clean, cozy, and beds were comfortable. Only downfall was the porch was icy coming up to front door from recent weather but everything else was absolutely perfect. Would stay here again!
