The staff are so lovely. The continental breakfast was actually really good, I was pleasantly surprised. Loads of restaurants nearby. The room was simple and clean, exactly what we needed. The perfect place for a quick stop.

We stayed at The Harbour Hotel in Greenock, Scotland, from 14 to 18 September 2026, travelling with my son. We had a pleasant stay and found the hotel a convenient base for exploring Greenock and the surrounding area. The location was useful, and we enjoyed spending time together during our visit. We were happy with our stay and would consider staying at The Harbour Hotel again when visiting the area.

On arrival we were upgraded to a larger room which was lovely. Vicky showed us to our room and she was very friendly and gave some helpful advice about issues we had trying to get to the shopping centre. We really enjoyed our overnight stay which had been booked in conjunction with a trip on the Waverley. Our continental breakfast was really good although I would have loved a hard boiled egg! We would definately stay again because the hotel was very good value for money, clean, with friendly staff and in a great location.

We had a pleasant stay at the Harbour Hotel. The room was a good size, clean and had plenty of power sockets, which was very convenient. The shower was excellent, with strong water pressure. The bathroom, however, felt quite dated. The sink was very small, making it difficult to fill the kettle directly from the tap, and there was no side lamp in the room. We also found that water came out of the shower tray despite the shower having an enclosure. Breakfast was good, with a good selection of gluten-free options available, which was much appreciated. Overall, a comfortable stay, although the bathroom could benefit from some updating and a few practical improvements.

Staff very friendly and helpful. The property is dated but the amenities and rooms were good. As I entered my room I could feel the heating was on slightly which was ideal from coming in from a cool damp evening. Breakfast was continental which was fine. Would definitely return

Chambre propre. Pour 4 personnes 1 grand lit très confortable et 1 lit superposé. Ras salle de bain ok. Stationnement très facile. Lidl en face de l hôtel ainsi que tesco plus station service. Hôtel au bord du port.
