Clean room and friendly staff. The only issue was we were not informed that there was some maintenance/building work happening on what sounded like the floor above us (we were on the 7th). It wasn’t a problem but would have been nice to know in advance.

We were born and grew up in Gourock and returned from Australia to visit family and friends. I worked in reception in the Tontine nearly 50 years ago and wonderful to see the hotel still welcoming guests. Tontine is comfortable, clean & welcoming.
