"We enjoyed this mountain house very much. The weather wasn't great: it was unseasonably cold and there was a lot of rain. So we were thankful we had a nice house to hang out in since it wasn't a great week for outdoor activities. We took our 2 dogs, and the house is set up great for dogs. The back deck is closed off completely, and the front porch is gated, so the dogs could roam the porch and deck off lead. There is also plenty of flat areas on the grounds around the house to walk the dogs. There were even 2 beds and 2 bowls for the dogs.The house is well equipped, and the wifi signal was strong enough for all our streaming and connectivity needs. We slept great too because the master bedroom had an incredibly comfortable mattress: I want to order the same mattress for our guest bedroom. Last of all, the house is filled with unique and interesting decor and artworks.Our host, Pete, was great. He answered any question we had and responded quickly. We want to stay at this house again, maybe in warmer weather when we can enjoy wading in the picturesque river that run behind the house."
