My wife and I enjoyed another great visit to Hendersonville and the Waverly Inn. The downtown location is fantastic to take advantage of the main street attractions. The breakfast is amazing. The front porch is the place to be for a relaxing evening. We look forward to our next visit.

We only stayed for one night but enjoyed the hospitality and the evening Happy Hour. Rooms were excellent. We didn’t get a chance to have breakfast because we were leaving early, but the staff prepared a parfait for us in the morning. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and upstairs balcony.

A lovely historic inn, loved all the period features. Mike (the inn keeper) was so helpful. Great location. The beds were really comfortable. The breakfast staff were fabulous and we really enjoyed the social hour every evening.

Perfect stay!

Wr just had a wonderful one-night stay the 1898 Waverly Inn and look forward to coming back. The inn was beautiful, our room couldn't have been more comfortable and the hospitality was amongst the best we've experienced anywhere! You also could not want a better location in downtown Hendersonville - quiet and away from the fray yet a quick walk to shops and restaurants. Can't recommend highly enough.

The room was exceptionally clean -- no dust even in high places. Comfortable lodging. The closet was ridiculously small however. Breakfasts were very good. And every member of the staff we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the afternoon wine and cheese. Located very close to shops and restaurants downtown.

Our stay at 1898 Waverly was lovely. The hosts are wonderful, the porch happy hour reception was wonderful and the breakfast was delicious. Our beds were very comfortable. Definitely keep in mind that this is an old boarding house with all the creaks and quirks of an old house. The decor was a bit outdated, but still charming and we had a very comfortable stay. It is within walking distance of plenty of shops and restaurants. We would stay here again.
