"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! The location is fantastic—peaceful, quiet, and tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet less than a 10-minute drive from anything you might need. That said, you may not need much at all, as the hosts go above and beyond to ensure everything you could possibly want or need is already provided.The views of the lake and surrounding foliage are absolutely stunning, and stargazing at night was an added bonus. The property also has kayaks available, which is a wonderful touch. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, making it easy to feel right at home.Communication with the hosts was seamless throughout our stay, and their thoughtfulness truly made the experience even more special.If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway surrounded by beautiful scenery, this place is a must-stay! We highly recommend it and would love to return."

"Our stay the cottage was fantastic. Clean spaces, comfortable beds and common areas. Beech hill pond is right in the backyard and the house has plenty of toys and ways to enjoy the water. A quick drive to Acadia and plenty of restaurants in Ellsworth to keep you fed!"

"This was exactly the rustic camp we were looking for! The lake was so peaceful with gorgeous sunsets and our 2 golden retrievers loved swimming and exploring the area with us! The keypad did not work for us when we arrived but we were able to contact the host immediately and they were able to help us with that. The camp seemed to be equipped with everything we needed but I would recommend bringing a small plug in night light as it is very dark if you get up during the night. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely go back again!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It wasn’t fancy but it was clean. We loved being so close to the lake. Having the fire pit and chairs by the water was perfect. The water is clear and the little “beach” area and pathways to the water were very clean. There is a table and chairs with a grill right outside the back door which is great. My only complaint is the beds were very uncomfortable. They did have a foam topper but a newer mattress would be better. Other than that, the pillows, bedding and towels were good quality. We had trouble with the lock at first but customer support was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again!"

"Such a wonderful, beautiful, Unique property. Can't say how much I LOVED "camping" there. (I put camping in quotes because its more like GLAMPING.) Everything you could possibly need to go camping is already there. The little A frame for sleeping was perfect. Mattress was cozy and comfortable. It is right on a lake that is great for canoeing. There is another lake about 5 minutes down the road that is the MOST BEAUTIFUL LAKE that has amazing swimming. Ask the owner for directions. The owner is amazing. Very communicative. Very helpful. Very kind. We are definitely doing back to stay on July the 4th. Such a perfect time to be there. Very thankful we found that place. The owner is a peach. Super sweet. 😀"

"This place is a beautiful slice of peace and tranquility. The house is perfect and accommodating for either a small group or larger one. Scott had a nice supply of little necessities if you did not bring something yourself. The house sits right on the lake. Gorgeous !!There’s kayaks and life vests to use. We saw and heard loons ever day as well into the evening. We saw bald eagles, hummingbirds, kingfishers, cormorants and mergansers ! We had great views to sunrises, sunsets and the the Milky Way ! We rode our bikes on the roads around the area and caught an eagle just hanging out in the tree tops. We rented a boat and they delivered to the boat launch which was a quick drive back to the house is the lake. We did Acadia NP, gorgeous and realized 1 day was not enough. The drive to gas/groceries is not far at all."
