Cheap but not Cheerful!
If you are a bunch of guys or backpackers who are use to roughing it and are just looking for a place to crash thats clean, very basic and near the pubs, bars and restaurants then this will suit you. Its very cheap we got it for under £100 for the week. We are a couple in our 40s who have visited Pefkos over the last ten years and have stayed in expensive and cheap. Our room was very noisy (room 16), due to music from Pefkos by night until around 4.00am, our apartment was not in main block as they were full, it was on ground under the owners to the side of main block, so had to get a/c to sleep as couldnt leave patio door open due to noise. Cooking equipment consists of 2 cereal bowls, 2 x cutlery and one pot, So if you want to make a breakfast you will have problems, also ants on patrol at the sink. Beds comfy, think new mattresses. Lock on front door broke (old lock needs replaced), owner replaced key but still had major problem locking and unlocking door, became a nightmare! all taps hard to turn on and off, shower has no where to hang shower head so if like me you have long hair and trying to wash it u will have a problem, water sprays everywhere and bathroom became lethal. Bathroom door lock jammed, I got stuck in it, boyfriend had to bash it open to rescue me. It has a Tv but around 6 Greek channels only no English or Sky news, waste of time having it. Owners mum gave us into trouble for leaving patio door open whilst we went in and out hanging towels, think she was moaning about the electric for a/c, which is a joke as we paid £50 euro for it! Not very cheerful. Would recommend you pay a bit extra and go to Tzambiki Studios just down the road, we go there for a cheep week but thought as this was cheaper we would still have a view. No view from our room just an old field, view from main building blocked by old scabby building. Tzambiki studios all have Sea views on first floor, clean, Quiet, well maintained though basic, essential cooking equipment and Costas speaks good English, by comparison I wont be returning to Pals. Pefkos as always, is brill, mypefkos.com is doing a grand job of cleaning up the place as streets very clean and new benches and lots of bins. Attended the second Greek community gathering which is newly organised and had a great time. Pick carefully if you want basic and cheap as thats what Pals is!

Giusto rapporto qualità-prezzo
