Beautiful and stylish hotel with impeccable staff and services. Being a 20-25 minute walk (or 10-min cycle) from the centre of Kos Town, it was perfectly peaceful and relaxing at all times of the day and night. ON arrival we were greeted warmly, offered an arrival drink while bags were transferred to the room. Arriving on a late flight, the restaurant was closed, so the hotel had very kindly provided a platter of sandwiches in our room - very welcome after a long day! The hotel was never crowded or noisy. The breakfast buffet was one of the most extensive I've seen. All the usual fare, beautifully presented. By the third day, the breakfast staff knew our coffee order by heart and were attentive without being intrusive, offering refills of coffee, water and orange juice. The little strip of beach opposite is well furnished with free towels, quality loungers, umbrellas and tables and a couple of cabanas. Entry to the sea is a little rocky and the waves a little choppy at times (as in many places round the island) but the breeze was refreshing in the afternoon sun. We were served free fruit juices as we sunbathed, and a member of staff regularly visited to take food/refreshment orders. We had a very late departure flight, but were invited to continue to make full use of the hotel's amenities after checking out, including the beach, pool, spa, gym and - most helpfully - shower room.
