This was our first time in Santorini. The hotel had a beautiful view of the Caldera. The staff was amazing. My husband and I we had breakfast and Dinner at Katrins. It was really good food. The last night we had fish there, it was very freah amd delicious. The hotel had alot of dining options near by as well.

Terrible!!! 😭 I booked a luxurious hotel and Kratiras was not that! I honestly don't like to give bad reviews. However, I was extremely disappointed with this property. As a solo female traveller, I need to feel safe, I didn't at this hotel. The view is spectacular, but that's it! The view! I came to Santorini for my birthday and paid for luxury, but I didn't get it at Kratiras. The place is very old and unclean! The Lady/owner is nice but her husband isn't, he shouted at me because I wanted to get a cup to make some tea. Why there aren't any cups, but there's a kettle? I checked in late and checked out very early the next morning. I was in tears because I was not comfortable. The Lady at a nearby hotel, Daydream Suite was very accommodating and sweet. I spent the duration of my time there for less money. Kratiras needs to do major work on that property and the little pool was dirty.

Wonderful stay

This place was incredible from the word go. Pants and Angelo felt like family by the time we left. They saw to our every need. Pools and hot tub were great after all our walking. View from the room could not be surpassed. We had one of the most epic dinners of our lives, which we’ll never forget. Shopping, excursions, airport are all close. Nice property but it was located right by donkey area so you could smell the donkey poo everyday But staff was nice and friendly and helped to arrange transfers and helped to carry luggage to transfer area

Pros: The view from the room was amazing. Cons: This is run by the restaurant owned by the same people. Check in was Inflexible, and unfriendly. There is no concierge or reception, there’s an office they keep empty and someone from the kitchen in the restaurant will come to get you checked in. Getting to the room is not an easy task, it’s a long walk from the public parking (20 minutes through steep steps filled with donkey feces used) so if carrying heavy luggage I can see this being a very difficult task. Also, NO PRIVACY. Rooms are all using the same balcony area so people walk around right outside your room. We noticed even people just wanting to take photos and not guests of this facility

Amazing views!! The property is in need of some repair, and the area surrounding the property is needed repair/renovation. The rooms were hot during the day from the sun which wasn't ideal, but the sunset and evening/night views more than make up for it.

Great stay.
We stayed here because I wanted a beautiful place with a pool with a great view. We got it all. Place was very clean. Bed was great. We left very early the best morning but manager offered to give us some food and drink the night before so we had something to eat in the morning. We got to stay during full moon and at 5am got an awesome photo of it.

This property has a really nice view. The staff is friendly and helpful and try their best to work with you. The pool is a bit small, as I woukd have prefered the room with the hot tub. Rooms are clean and service is prompt. I would recommend.

This hotel was just as pictured and in an amazing location. I wish we could have stayed longer. We arrived in santorini really late and left very early, and the staff set up pick u pans drop off. Everyone was so nice and Fira is a super fun area of the island. Would definitely stay again.

We loved the property, staff and location. The view was incredibled. The location put us in the heart of restaursnts and shopping. We enjoy hiking so the hike to Oia was a way to see the entire west coastline. Overall, this property is a great value and well run.

The property looks a little older than the pictures show. Calling the property "luxury" may be interpretive to the isand. I would say it was not luxury, but was comfortable. The view is luxury, although it is located at the end of the road, so good if you like quiet, but is a tek to get there, especially if you are older like myself. Downfall is the donkey path by the property, you can hear thm trot by the room early in the morning and through the day. We booked the place because of the private heated plunge pool. Arrived to find out the heat was not working. This was disappointing but did manage to use the pool once you got use to the cold water. Pool also needed work, as the boards around the pool are warped and worn. The pool for the room below looked like it had been fixed. They are woring on a few rooms and the restaurant so may be planning to reno the property. Didn't try the restaurant until the second last day due to bad reviews. What a mistake, the food and service was excellent. If you try the grill, expect for extra time and money, but it was worth it; best meal we had in Santorini. The grill smelled so good everday that we just had to try it. Employees of the resort work very hard, saw them working on the property and restaurant from 9ish until after midnight. Overall, some minor things on the description of property, but it was a good selection and stay. Staff will help with your bags to the airpprt shuttle pickup/drop off, which is great with all the stairs

This hotel is wonderful. The views of the Caldera was stunning both from the rooms and from the breakfast area. We had a small pool, which was actually heated and cleaned daily. There are also rooms with hot tubs, which were also hot. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. They met us on the road where the taxi dropped us off and helped us with our suitcase to get to the hotel.

Spectacular Stay!!
Although this place is close to impossible to find, it was well worth the hunt once we finally found this Beautiful gem. The views breathless and the service was superb. Panos the manager took care of all our needs and went above and beyond to assure we were having the best stay. John his assistant was also superb. Their hard work did not go unnoticed. Would definitely recommend!

This was our first visit in Santorini and we were very happy with our hotel choice. The hotel is small with 9 rooms, distributed on 3 levels. 7 of the rooms have hot tubs and 2 are without. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the firm mattress and pillows. The bedding is good quality and comfortable. There is a large flat screen TV that plays Netflix and Amazon Video. There is a small fridge that works really well- our water was always very cold. There is a wardrobe, safe, slippers and bathrobes. There are large beach towels in addition to the regular bathroom towels. The WiFi was fast - 20 Mbs/s. The AC worked really well- some reviewers had noted that the AC doesn't cool off the room, but we were there during a very hot period and our AC worked really well. We also enjoyed the strong water pressure in the bathroom. Bathroom amenities were nice - shampoo, body wash, body lotion, vanity set, shaving set and toothbrushes with toothpaste. The room was cleaned daily and it was very clean. The view is amazing- day or night you can see the beautiful sea and countless boats. It's quite impressive! All guests were couples and the hotel was quiet. Breakfast was nice, served in the cafe upstairs with amazing views of the bay. It is ala carte and you can request whatever you like. You can have fresh juice, coffee any style, eggs any style, bread, butter, jams, fruit, Greek yogurt. It is plentiful and fresh. It is served from 9:30 am to 11 am. Friendly staff!

This place had a phenomenal view. The location was perfect as it was in the central square of Thira. There were quite a few steps to get to/from hotel which was expected. The service however, was my biggest complaint. The included breakfast was not good. You can tell that they water down the orange juice and food just did not taste good. We had dinner there the first night because we Had not read the reviews which I always do but overlooked since it was so late and I was tired. The prices were extremely exaggerated and I wouldn’t have mind to pay had it tasted good. It was just not acceptable. The beds were made daily but sheets weren’t replaced. At the end of our stay, I asked several times if there would be someone to help us up the steps because we had suitcases. The manager assured me that there would be. It was 5am and no one showed up. Clearly, they figured we were one time guests and would not go back, well, they were correct. While I did fall in love with santorini and plan to return next year, I will not go back to that place. I can not recommend it as it was at most mediocre. What a shame because the place has spectacular view and potential. I just feel that the people running it are not good people.

We enjoyed our stay at Kratiras Suites. The room was very comfortable, the view was beautiful and the staff was very helpful. There are quite a few steps that you need to walk down to get to your suite, which could be a problem for people with mobility issues. Also, the restaurant was quite expensive, even for a drink. If you get away from restaurants with a view, the prices are much more reasonable,

New build suites but workmen still on site.
Very nice suites but ours had underwear left in shower, the spa bath did not work and was not clean, there was no WiFi in suite and we had to ask for a box of tissues. On arrival we did not know that the nearest the taxi could get to the suites was 800 mtrs away and we had a 20 minutes wait for their guide to arrive. Our suite was down 66 very steep steps and anyone elderly or slightly infirm would have great difficulty in getting down and back up. This is not unusual in Thira but was not obvious from the website. However some of the problems were quickly solved and the staff were very friendly. The food was good to excellent although expensive as is normal on Santorini.

Nice boutique size hotel with fantastic view.
The hotel has fantastic view, must try have the breakfast at balcony. the experience you wouldn’t forget for your rest life. The hotel staff very friendly and helpful, they will do anything to make you fell comfortable and welcome. Must try the Santorini coffee in the hotel, the test is great! We will definitely come back again and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone about this hotel . It’s so worth it !

Great location great view
This small hotel has a great view in santorini, the staff was the best . There is no pool but the view is to die for .

Bela vista e atendimento!!
O hotel é ótimo com vista fantástica. O café da manhã delicioso com vista para caldeira. O dono - Panos- super solícito e simpático. O problema é o acesso ao hotel, não só este mas todos no alto. Não tem acesso para carro ou moto. Baita ladeira e escadas para trazer as malas desde a rua principal. Perrengão!! Mas ao chegar ao hotel o esforço compensa pelo local e vista!!

Pensé que mi habitación tenía piscina pero no , las entradas de las habitaciones algo rara pues en cada hilera uno habitación tiene jacuzzi, la habitación del medio nada y la ultima piscina,pero pasas enfrente de las habitaciones sin privacidad alguna, aunque la ubicación es única puedes ver el sunset sentado desde tu balcon
