Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington DC Convention Center
10/10 Excellent
"The rooms were very spacious and the one we booked had a kitchenette which was nice when travelling. The bed was comfortable and soft. The hotel was 3 blocks from Mt Vernon metro station and this was only a couple of stops from L’Enfant station where most of the other lines go through so easy to change to get places. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. There is no self parking so expect to pay $$ for valet. There is a parking lot across the street but I didn’t see how much. We had problems in 2 rooms with the heating but the other room was good. The breakfast had a good variety and there was tables and chairs and a fire place down stairs to hang around. "
"The hotel is lovely and quiet in a bustling part of DC- truly an oasis. But what stood out the most was the gracious and accommodating staff. Every single person made me feel like a regularly returning VIP rather than a first time guest."
