Pet-Friendly 2-Bed Chalet: Near Broads & Short Walk to Beach

Cosy and clean two bedroom chalet, a 7 minute walk from the Norfolk coast with sandy beach (dog friendly). Perfectly positioned on the California Sands Estate to maintain a sense of rural solitude. Free onsite parking on campsite.

The chalet is best suited for a maximum of four guests (sharing one double bed and two single beds). However, for an additional fee (£30), a sofa-bed is available and bedding can be supplied an extra guest (two guests maximum sharing sofa bed).

THE SPACE
Living Area: Relax in the comfortable lounge with flatscreen TV, wii console (+4 games), IKEA sofa-bed, armchair, beanbag, dining table for four, and electric heating.
Kitchen: Fully equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave, 4-plate electric stove with oven, plus all essential utensils. Fire safety equipment included.
Bedroom 1: Double bed with fresh linen, cupboard and bedside storage. Electric heater.
Bedroom 2: Bunk beds with linen provided, cupboard and bedside storage. Electric heater.
Bathroom: Shower room with WC and basin. Electric heater.
Outdoor Space: Large grassed area with outside seating.

Lovely chalet

The chalet was spotless, my granddaughters loved the bunk beds. The area where the chalet is was quiet on an evening, so ideal for young children. Everyone enjoyed their stay here.

It was a well presented chalet, clean and tidy with all the bits you would need to cook and clean a nice touch which wasn't there when we visited in August was the towels placed on all the beds, also the host puts in the fridge for your arrival.

The place was nice and i liked there was a games console for the kids. I didnt like having to turn off the heating at night so that the meter did not run out as it was cold at night so havig to decide about how much to put in the meter so we coukd have heating all night ot not but the place was clean and had all the kitchen utilities we needed and easy to find.

Easy access to facilities and everything you could need

The chalet was great - close to the club, pool, arcade etc. and me and the kids had a lovely time. Admittedly the electricity pounds don't seem to last an awfully long time but this didn't pose a huge problem. There was everything we could have needed in the chalet and I wouldn't hesitate to book it again.

Great location

Shame about the awful weather we had but the chalet had everything you could need. It was very close to the Club, pool and chippy. The chalet itself was very clean and all towels provided and Simon the host left a little welcome pack. The beach is only about a 5-10 minute walk. We would definitely return.

Nice last minute get away

Property is well kept. Everything we needed for the weekend from towels to washing up liquid and a tea towel, the owner has throught of it all.Nice little touch from the owner.. leaving us milk and drinks for the kids as well as a fiver on the electric.. we only put £3 in ourselves and still left some when we left. area is lovely about 10 mins drive to great Yarmouth sea front. I recommend a cheap and cheerful boat ride at the waterside..£16 for 4 for half hour which is about 6 mins drive. This place also does a good breakfast. I'd definitely come back to California

Just right

The reviews weren’t wrong the property has an awful smell when you enter, you forget it’s there once you’re in a while but after every day out you come back to the mix of musty dog and mould. The curtains had stains on, there were marks on the walls and the sink was full of grime which had the same smell. So overall, the cleanliness wasn’t great. Could definitely do with a make over! However, the communication beforehand was great it was easy to get to and the surroundings in the chalet park were great. Our 4 year old had the best time and loved all the pool, bouncy castles, discos that were available throughout the day. Would definitely return but perhaps to a different chalet.
