The area offers many wonderful walks of varying distances, adventurous cycle routes, horse riding, fishing, numerous watersports and off-road driving experiences in a variety of vehicles. The National Forest area also provides many museums, country houses and gardens, fairs and festivals, as well as riverside regattas, concerts and theatre performances. Within an hour’s drive are the Peak District National Park, Chatsworth House and racing at Uttoxeter. A wonderful area for a memorable holiday at any time of year.
