"We had a very relaxing family holiday at The Plaice. The views are outstanding and the property is only a short walk from shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the kitchen area was very well equipped. It was lovely to get to sleep at night with the sound of the waves."

"Kitchen was generally clean although the fridge hadn't been cleaned and there was food in it The shower either ran really hot to scolding or cold no middle ground the radiators either worked or didn't across the property and the lounge one was noisy even above volume of tv neighbours also noisy late at night watching tv location excellent for all amenities and beach with local pub very welcoming just needs a little TLC in places "

"Excellent comfy room with a few minor drawbacks, it was over the main restaurant area so was noisy early on, the water pressure on both hot and cold was poor but the shower was excellent and no toilet roll holder. The staff in general were very good and Jenny was excellent. The food in the restaurant was pricey but if superb quality, especially the home made pie.The draught beer was excellent and the wines very drinkable. The room cleaner left a bit to be desired, not a thorough job by any means., only straightened the bed linen and left the towels."
