Rock Ledge Motel

"Rock Ledge motel was very close to Alexandria Bay for walking and catching tours. Pet friendly is always a concern and our pup was welcome here. I love the charm of older establishments, and appreciate the hard work it takes to maintain and improve them. The room was spacious and clean. We rented a king bedrooom. It provided all that we expected for an older motel. The staff was friendly. The area felt safe and quiet when we stayed there 3 nights in September."

"This was our second stay at Sunset Cottage. (Our first stay was in May of 2025).We had a great time on both visits! The cottage is exactly as advertised and very clean. Two bedrooms and bathrooms and a full kitchen with full size applances. The Keuric coffee maker can make single cups or a pot. The best part is how close you are to Lake Erie. We were able to have a fire on two of the nights(I do love a burned marshmallow). You can also enjoy the view sitting on one of the rockers on the porch. The sunsets are amazing!"

"The house was very clean. Communication with the host was clear and they checked in with us mid-week. The check out instructions were clear. Wi-fi was decent. Front porch was the highlight because we could have our morning tea and watch the sunset each night. There is some road noise but very little traffic so it wasn't a bother. Beds were very comfortable. It is a good location if you want easy access to Cape Vincent, Clayton and Alexandria Bay, but don't want to be in the heart of tourist traffic."

"It is obvious that the host cares about the property and what visitors think. I have stayed at Angel Rock prior to this visit and I have always been very satisfied. Staff is friendly and helpful. Pool was very enjoyable. The location and the views are wonderful."
