"Lovely hotel albeit a tad dated in parts but very handy for the railway station (5 mins walk). A very warm welcome at reception on arrival & similarly cheery on departure. The room upgrade was a nice touch (single to a double) although the sloping ceilings can be problematic for taller people (room 227 at the back of the hotel). Staff were friendly & polite whilst the buffet breakfast was good. I didn't have time to use the leisure facilities such as the pool as I was only stopping the one night. Would definitely stay again.
